Texas Roundtable: If you could bring back one defensive player

If you could bring back any former defensive player at Texas for this upcoming season, who would it be?

Aggressive, speedy and explosive. Johnson earned the Bronko Nagurski Trophy as the nation’s top defensive player and the Butkus Award for the nation’s top linebacker. The two-time consensus All-American was also the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2004.  He could cover anyone, was a sure tackler and found a way to consistently force fumbles. Need I say more? Texas is desperately missing this type of energy on the defensive side of the ball — especially at that position.
