Five-star running back Rueben Owens has been named MaxPreps’ National Junior of the Year.
Owens rushed for 2,989 yards on a 12.1 yards per carry mark with 48 total touchdowns. He has received 37 offers and has shown interest in Texas, Georgia, Texas A&M, Alabama and USC.

He led the state of Texas in rushing with nearly 3,000 yards on the ground and rushed for 46 touchdowns.
