Texas RB target Rueben Owens named MaxPreps National Junior of the Year

A huge honor for five-star running back Rueben Owens.

Five-star running back Rueben Owens has been named MaxPreps’ National Junior of the Year.

Owens rushed for 2,989 yards on a 12.1 yards per carry mark with 48 total touchdowns. He has received 37 offers and has shown interest in Texas, Georgia, Texas A&M, Alabama and USC.

 

The El Campo product joins an impressive list of past winners, including former Longhorns Johnathan Gray and Sam Ehlinger.
