Texas RB Bijan Robinson misses out on Heisman invite

Bijan Robinson was snubbed of a Heisman finalist spot.

Texas superstar running back Bijan Robinson will not be making the trip to New York for the Heisman ceremony.

The Heisman Trophy Award finalists were announced on Monday Night, with Robinson missing the cut. The four players in contention for college football’s most prestigious award are all quarterbacks.

  • Stetson Bennett (Georgia)
  • Max Duggan (TCU)
  • C.J. Stroud (Ohio State)
  • Caleb Williams (USC)

USC’s Caleb Williams is the heavy favorite to take home the award after his magnificent season for the Trojans.

While it is a disappointment Bijan Robinson did not make the list, he is still up for the Doak Walker Award, granted to the best running back in the nation every year.

Steve Sarkisian stated he believes Robinson would be a sure-fire Heisman finalist if Texas had won a couple more games this season.
