Better late than never.
On Wednesday, Texas sent an offer to three-star wide receiver Keithron Lee out of the 2021 recruiting class. Early signing period is nearly a month away, therefore the Longhorns must impress quickly.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pound playmaker is currently rated the No. 84 overall player in the state of Texas according to ESPN. Lee attends Rudder High School in Bryan, Texas, where he accounted for 39 receptions, 711 yards and 11 touchdowns through the air in 2019.
Lee has accumulated an impressive stack of offers thus far including Tennessee, Ole Miss, TCU, Texas Tech and Washington. According to 247Sports and Rivals.com, TCU and UTSA appear to be the top two contenders at the moment.
