Texas now targeting former Arizona commit, four-star wide receiver

Texas sent an offer to four-star wide receiver Kyion Grayes who recently decommitted from Arizona.

Four-star wide receiver Kyion Grayes announced that he received an offer from Texas on the same day that he publicly chose to decommit from the University of Arizona.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound playmaker originally committed to Arizona in August prior to receiving numerous offers from major Power Five programs. Grayes’ recent list of offers include Texas, Penn State, Ohio State, LSU and Oregon.

The Arizona native is considered the No. 3 overall player in the state out of the 2022 recruiting class according to 247Sports.

Texas presents an attractive landing spot for Grayes as wide receivers Brennan Eagles, Tarik Black and Brenden Schooler won’t be with the program in 2022.
