Texas Longhorns Football: Three things to know about Baylor

Texas is looking to get its season back on the right track on Saturday. Here are three things you need to know about its matchup vs Baylor:

Charlie Brewer has struggled

Charlie Brewer’s performance against West Virginia was not the most impressive he has ever had, completing just 60.5% of his throws and squandering two interceptions. Even against a rather poor Kansas defense, Brewer only had 142 yards on 23 attempts.

His second interception against the Mountaineers came in overtime, setting them up for a game-winning touchdown to win 27-21. He even left the game at one point with a shoulder injury. Despite returning, Brewer is listed as questionable for the Texas game.

The Austin native has never had a dazzling performance against Texas either, just averaging 214 passing yards and having two touchdowns and one interception in three games. However, this Longhorns defense has struggled mightily this season. If there was ever a time for Brewer to have a breakout day, it would be on Saturday at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
