Texas Longhorns Football: Three things to know about Baylor

Texas is looking to get its season back on the right track on Saturday. Here are three things you need to know about its matchup vs Baylor:

After it was announced Baylor’s matchup against Oklahoma State was going to be postponed, the COVID-19 numbers came out from the athletic department. Athletic director Mack Rhoades said the Bears 32 active student-athlete positives. 28 of them were football to go along with 14 members of the coaching staff.

On Sunday, head coach Dave Aranda announced that zero players or staff has tested positive. All players were expected to be back in practice by the middle of the week as well. For the players who did not test positive before the Oklahoma State game, they were able to participate in conditioning work last week.

It has been since Oct. 3 since Baylor has last played a snap of football, losing in overtime to West Virginia. The Bears should be traveling to Austin COVID-19 free and will be hoping to play the remaining parts of it schedule with no hiccups.
