Texas football roster breakdown: Y-Receiver

Jake Smith and Jordan Whittington are two names to watch for UT this season. Here is a breakdown of the Y-receiver position for UT in 2020:

Y-Receiver 3 – Dajon Harrison

An incoming freshman, Dajon Harrison is going to be the reserve wide receiver during his first year on campus. Coming out of high school, Harrison was a three-star recruit and known for his speed. Harrison does not have a verified 40 yard dash time but ran track for Hutto High School and was one of the best in the state.

Listed at 5-10, his size and play style fits in perfectly to the slot receiver role. However, with two talented players ahead of him, it is hard to imagine Harrison will be getting a significant amount of playing time. If Texas needs an abundance of speed on the field, expect Harrison to get a touch or two.
