This is a nobrainer. Not only is Ehlinger the best quarterback on Texas’ roster, he’s the top player in the Big 12. It’s clear that Ehlinger is the heartbeat of this offense, oftentimes carrying the team on his back both through the air and on the ground. His best performances have come against nationally-ranked competition, solidifying his mark as a true competitor. Ehlinger accounted for 39 touchdowns (32 passing, 7 rushing) last season as he continues to make his mark as one of the top quarterbacks in school history.
