Texas has added another member to the 2021 recruiting class at a position of need.
On Friday morning, punter Isaac Pearson announced that he accepted a full scholarship to the University of Texas. Pearson is from the same program, ProKick, that produced Michael Dickson and Ryan Bujcevski.
I am incredibly excited and honoured to announce that I have accepted a full scholarship to study and play football at The University of Texas. #HookEm #trUTh21 @CoachTomHerman @CoachJ_Boulware @Coach_Horny @BCarringtonUT @ProkickAus @JohnnyPKA @ConquestCQ pic.twitter.com/9DTxvLLoul

As Bujcevski enters his senior season with the Longhorns, Pearson will now be waiting in the wings to take over. The Newcastle, Australia product expects to enroll at Texas in January of 2021.
According to Horns247, there was never a doubt of which school Pearson wanted to attend although he has yet to visit Austin.
“I consider myself very lucky to be a Longhorn, I have followed them as a fan for years and fell in love with the team. And then I trained and was lucky to be recruited. There was never a second thought.”
It appears Dickson’s recent success at Texas has opened the doors for others to dream of following in his footsteps. It may not be a shiny addition to the 2021 recruiting class, but it’s one of the most important.
