Texas A&M’s 2024 recruiting class in a three way tie for the second most commitments in On3’s On300 rankings

Tied for the second most commitments in On3′ On300 rankings, Texas A&M’s impressive haul is built on future success on the field.

Texas A&M is looking to get off to a hot start in SEC play as Auburn heads to College Station this Saturday to open the conference slate. While recruiting isn’t the first thing on Jimbo Fisher’s mind during football season, it’s simply a part of the job that can never be ignored when planning for the future.

The Aggies’ 2024 recruiting class is impressive, to say the least, boasting 21 commitments, including two five-star prospects and a No.5 ranking, according to On3. After landing five-star defensive tackle Dominick McKinley on Sept. 1, momentum has once again swung Fisher’s way, and late next week, high-priority prospect, five-star WR/CB Terry Bussey Jr. will announce his commitment on Sept. 28, as he is currently heavily favored to land with the Maroon & White.

Coming off the miserable 5-7 (2-6 SEC) 2022 season, Fisher’s recruiting acumen has been challenged time and time again, and while he still has a ton to prove on the field this season for his future in College Station to remain intact, the future roster is looking as talented as ever.
