On Monday afternoon, several members of Texas A&M’s Top 10-ranked 2024 recruiting class received significant boosts in the 247Sports composite player rankings, as just two weeks remain before the recruiting dead period ends on Tuesday, July 25.
New Jersey quarterback Miles O’Neill, who committed to the Aggies on June 14, rose 518 spots to No. 368 in 247Sports composite. IOL Coen Echols rose 345 spots to No. 399, and edge Gabriel Reliford made a seismic leap of 345 spots to No. 408 in the composite.
That cumulates to a combined 1,216 spots in the 247Sports composite rankings, while most notably, all three received a fourth-star in the process.
With 16 hard commits to date, Texas A&M’s 2024 class ranks No. 9 overall in the 247Sports composite. It also moves the Aggies up to one spot to No. 3 overall in SEC, behind only No. 1 Georgia and No. 2 Florida. The Maroon and White jumped LSU, who fell to the conference’s No. 4 ranked recruiting class.
Texas A&M’s three lowest-rated commits at the time this was tweeted rose a combined 1,216 spots in the 247 Sports composite rankings today (and all gained a fourth star).

The Aggies have received plenty of slander heading into a critical 2023 season, but as loud as the naysayers hope to be, there is one thing they cannot dispute: Jimbo Fisher and his staff continue to flex their recruiting prowess. It’ss clear they are well on their way to bringing another top-15 class to College Station, and at this rate, it may be a question of whether the Aggies boast a potential top-five class once the dust settles.
