Ten plays showing off Justin Fields’ arm strength

One of the knocks of Ohio State QB Justin Fields’ status in the 2021 NFL draft, is his lack of arm strength. We disagree. Here’s proof.

The 2021 NFL draft will be here before you know it, and that means we’ll be hunting some Ohio State players’ names being called during the annual spectacle. With all the players OSU sends to the NFL, it’s almost become an annual right to see a scarlet and gray hue to the proceedings.

This year, one guy sticks out among the rest when it comes to Buckeye potential during the draft. That of course is quarterback Justin Fields.

Fields had an unbelievable first-year in Columbus, becoming a Heisman finalist, and was expected to take an even further step last season before COVID-19 derailed everything. But the body of work is still there, and sometimes draft analyst gurus can overanalyze things. One of the knocks we’ve seen in some circles is the lack of arm strength Justin Fields shows.

Needless to say, we disagree. And in fact, we’re pulling out some tape to prove it. Here are ten plays that showcase the arm strength Justin Fields has.
