2024 3-star WR Zy’marion Lang places Texas A&M in his Top 7 program list

Another 2024 wide receiver has his eyes on the Maroon and White, as 3-star Zy’marion Lang placed the Aggies in his Top 7 school list.

To avoid sounding like a broken record, Texas A&M is making a name for itself in the 2024 cycle, as several high-profile prospects have included the Aggies in their top program lists in the past couple of weeks as campus visits begin to ramp up this summer.

Last week, 2024 three-star wide receiver Zy’marion Lang, who’s set to enter his final senior season at Palmetto High School in Palmetto, Florida, released his Top 7 program list, which includes USF, South Carolina, West Virginia, Pitt, Kansas, Kansas State, and Texas A&M.

As a former duel-threat quarterback during his 2021 sophomore season, Lang’s transition to wide receiver was a no-brainer, standing at 6-2 and 170 pounds while understanding route concepts and timing due to his time under center. Noted as a highly underrated prospect in the cycle, Lang is currently positioned as the 88th-ranked wide receiver and the 87th-ranked player in Florida, according to 247Sports.

Outside of South Carolina, Texas A&M is by far the most prestigious offer Lang has received. After taking an unofficial visit back in April, it’s good to see that Jimbo Fisher’s Florida recruiting connection is still in full force.

PHOTOS: Texas A&M Football welcomes Class of 2024 and 2025 recruits over the weekend

It was a big weekend for Aggies football as they welcomed a number of recruits from the 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes to College Station.

It may have been April Fool’s weekend for most of us, but it was no joke for Texas A&M as the Maroon and White were hard at work hosting a number of talented football recruits at College Station over the last few days.

A number of players from the Class of 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes descended upon Aggieland over the weekend with the hopes of getting a feel for the football program after already receiving offers from A&M. For a handful of players it marked a return visit, while others were able to don the Maroon and White for the first time as a potential preview.

From the looks of it, they all enjoyed their time at Aggieland as the players took to social media to share their experiences. Check out the photos below, and here’s to hoping we see some of them don the Maroon and White permanently in the future!

Badgers offer three-star wide receiver from Florida

Wisconsin offered Zy’marion “Li Nook” Lang, a three-star class of 2024 wide receiver from Palmetto, Florida on Monday.

Wisconsin offered Zy’marion “Li Nook” Lang, a three-star wide receiver from Palmetto, Florida on Monday. The 6-foot-2, 170 pound athlete still has one more season of high school football before he’d potentially join a collegiate program as a member of their class of 2024.

Lang has now received 14 Division 1 offers, with the Badgers joining the likes of Tennessee, Ole Miss and South Carolina in offering him. With Luke Fickell and Phil Longo now calling the shots offensively, a big-bodied target like Lang would be a huge get for Wisconsin.

So far for the class of 2024, the Badgers have secured commitments from four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer (The Woodlands, Texas), four-star tight end Grant Stec (Algonquin, Illinois) and three-star tight end Robert Booker (Waunakee, Wisconsin).
