Although the Bulldogs have retained defensive coordinator Dan Lanning, inside linebackers coach Glen Schumann has drawn interest from LSU for their open defensive coordinator position and Georgia is currently without a defensive backs coach as Charlton Warren left Athens to take the defensive coordinator position at Indianna.

Muschamp played safety at Georgia and has coached defensive backs multiple times over his 25-year coaching career.

There has been no confirmation yet on Muschamp’s work with the program from UGA Athletics.
