First look: Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Philadelphia Eagles (12-2) take on the Washington Commanders (9-5) Sunday in Week 16. Kickoff from Northwest Stadium is set for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Eagles vs. Commanders odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

The Eagles head to D.C. with a sense of validation after beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-13 for a 10th consecutive win. Despite a week filled with noise and rumored disgruntled players with one another, they emphatically defeated another playoff-bound team. QB Jalen Hurts was 25-for-32 for 290 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs as the Eagles covered as 5.5-point home favorites and the Under (43) cashed. WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith combined for 19 catches for 219 yards and 2 scores. With the Detroit Lions’ loss Sunday to the Buffalo Bills, the Eagles are now tied for the best record in the NFC.

The Commanders survived a scare in Week 15, defeating the New Orleans Saints 20-19 but failing to cover as 7.5-opint road favorites with the Under (44.5) hitting. The Commanders were up 14-0 at the half but were outscored 19-6 the rest of the way. The Saints scored a TD on a 1-yard pass as time expired, but they went for a 2-point conversion for the win and failed.

Washington QB Jayden Daniels finished 25-for-31 for 226 passing yards with 2 TDs and no picks. He also rushed 11 times for 66 yards. WR Terry McLaurin was the top target, pulling 7 catches for 73 yards and 2 TDs. The Commanders have won 2 straight and sit in the 7th-seed spot, which would be matched up against these Eagles if the season ended today.

First look: Washington Commanders at New Orleans Saints odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Washington Commanders at New Orleans Saints Week 15 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The New Orleans Saints (5-8) welcome the Washington Commanders (8-5) to the Caesars Superdome Sunday. Kickoff for this NFL Week 15 matchup is set for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Commanders vs. Saints odds from FanDuel Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

The Commanders beat the visiting Tennessee Titans 42-19 Dec. 1, covering as 6-point favorites. They had their bye in Week 14. Washington snapped a season-high 3-game skid with the win. Despite that, it is still 4-3-1 against the spread (ATS) over its last 8.

The Saints beat the New York Giants 14-11 Sunday in Week 14, closing as 5.5-point road favorites. They have won 3 of their last 4 games. However, they had lost 7 straight Sept. 22-Nov. 3, which likely doomed their season. New Orleans is just 2-7 ATS in its last 9 games and 3-4 ATS at home on the season.

Commanders vs. Saints head-to-head

The Saints and Commanders don’t have a rich history, but have certainly seen each other often over the last decade. Since 2012, they have played 5 times. These teams have yet to meet in the playoffs.

The Saints have won 3 meetings in a row, yet the Commanders lead the all-time series 17-11. Washington had a 6-game win streak from 1980 to 1990, the longest such streak in the history of the series.

That said, both teams are significantly different from when they last played Oct. 10, 2021, which resulted in a 33-22 win for the Saints.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Tennessee Titans (3-8) and Washington Commanders (7-5) meet Sunday in Week 13. Kickoff from Northwest Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we look at Titans vs. Commanders odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

The Titans snapped a 2-game losing streak in Week 12, upsetting the Houston Texans 32-27 as 8-point road underdogs. It was their first ATS win in 7 games. The Over 40.5 cashed, their fourth Over in the last 6 games. Tennessee’s defense limited RB Joe Mixon to a season-low 22 rushing yards.  QB Will Levis delivered 278 yards, 2 TD and and INT while RB Tony Pollard had 119 yards and aTD on 24 carries.

The Commanders dropped their third straight game, losing 34-26 to the Dallas Cowboys in a wild finish. They failed to cover as 11-point home favorites, marking their third consecutive ATS loss. The Over 44.5 cashed, their third Over in 4 games. Costly turnovers derailed Washington despite a late rally. QB Jayden Daniels connected with WR Terry McLaurin on an 86-yard TD with 14 seconds left, but K Austin Seibert‘s missed extra point sealed their fate.

First look: Dallas Cowboys at Washington Commanders odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Dallas Cowboys at Washington Commanders Week 12 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Dallas Cowboys (3-6) visit the Washington Commanders (7-4) on Sunday in Week 12. Kickoff from Northwest Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Cowboys vs. Commanders odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

This first of two meetings this season marks the first “Dan Quinn Bowl” between these division rivals.

Dallas’ former defensive coordinator has led Washington toward a playoff position in his first season as coach. The Commanders look to halt a 2-game losing streak, with their most recent defeat coming on Thursday Night Football to the Philadelphia Eagles 26-18.

The Cowboys’ disastrous season continued with a 34-10 loss to the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football, which leaves them with a 5-game losing streak. With QB Dak Prescott (hamstring) out for the season and a seemingly aimless defense failing to stop opponents of any level, Dallas looks to be playing out the string for a high NFL Draft pick. Maybe Trey Lance will get an extended look under center instead of Cooper Rush?

  • Over/Under (O/U): 45.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

Cowboys at Commanders head-to-head

The Cowboys have won 5 of the past 6 meetings, but are just 5-3 O/U in the Mike McCarthy era (from 2020 onward).

Don’t blindly buy into the head-to-head numbers: Washington’s new Quinn regime and rookie star QB Jayden Daniels — as well as Dallas not having Prescott under center — eliminate any foundation we can use for betting.

Dallas leads the all-time series 78-48-2, including 2 postseason games.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Washington Commanders (7-3) meet the Philadelphia Eagles (7-2) for Thursday Night Football in Week 11. Kickoff from Lincoln Financial Field is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET (Prime Video). Below, we look at Commanders vs. Eagles odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

The Commanders suffered a tough 28-27 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10 at home, failing to cover as a 2.5-point favorite as the Over (45.5) cashed. That halted a 7-0-1 against the spread (ATS) run. The Over has hit in 2 in a row for Washington, while going 6-2 across the past 8 contests.

The Eagles blasted the Dallas Cowboys 34-6 on the road, taking advantage of the absence of QB Dak Prescott. Philadelphia covered as a 7-point favorite, improving to 3-1 ATS in the past 4 games. Philly has won 4 in a row, scoring 28 or more points in each outing. It leads Washington by a half-game in the NFC East heading into TNF.

Commanders vs. Giants head-to-head

The Giants lead the all-time series 108-72-5.

This is one of the most storied rivalries in football. The Commanders won 21-18 in their first meeting this season Sept. 15, and it was a wild game. The Giants became the first team in NFL history to score 3 touchdowns and allow zero touchdowns, while losing in regulation. PK Austin Seibert, in his first game with the team, had a franchise record 7 field-goal makes.

The Giants were 3-0-1 SU and 4-0 ATS prior to that Week 2 meeting.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Chicago Bears (4-2) and Washington Commanders (5-2) meet Sunday in Week 8. Kickoff from Northwest Stadium is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we look at Bears vs. Commanders odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

The Bears, coming off a bye, are riding a 3-game winning streak. Their last outing in Week 6 was a dominant 35-16 victory in London over the Jacksonville Jaguars, covering the 1-point spread with the Over 44.5 hitting. Rookie QB Caleb Williams shined, throwing 4 TD passes — 2 each to TE Cole Kmet and WR Keenan Allen — continuing to showcase his potential as the Bears’ new franchise leader.

The Commanders rolled to a 40-7 win over the Panthers in Week 7, but the game took a turn when rookie QB Jayden Daniels injured his ribs on a 46-yard run in the 1st series. QB Marcus Mariota stepped in and performed well, completing 18-of-23 passes for 205 yards and 2 TDs. Daniels watched the game from the sidelines and will undergo testing on Monday.

First look: Carolina Panthers at Washington Commanders odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s New England Patriots vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Week 7 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Carolina Panthers (1-5) meet the Washington Commanders (4-2) for a Week 7 matchup at Northwest Stadium. Kickoff Sunday is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we look at Panthers vs. Commanders odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

The Panthers have been a little more exciting with QB Andy Dalton under center, but since winning his 1st start in Week 3 at the Las Vegas Raiders, Carolina has dropped the past 3 games. The Panthers are also 0-3 against the spread (ATS) in the skid, with the Over cashing in 4 in a row, and 5 of 6 games.

The Commanders suffered a 30-23 loss at the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6, halting a 4-game win and cover streak. Officially, Washington pushed as a 7-point underdog at most shops at the Over (50.5) cashed. Like Carolina, the Over has hit in 4 straight, and 5 of 6 games.
