Tennessee has expressed interest in Wofford transfer forward BJ Mack.

The end of the college basketball season is approaching and players are beginning to enter the transfer portal looking for new opportunities.

Wofford forward BJ Mack announced his entry into the transfer portal on Monday. He will be a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot-8, 245-pound forward originally committed to South Florida and transferred to Wofford after his freshman season.

The Vols have reached out to Mack and expressed interest in the graduate transfer. Mack has been contacted by over 20 different programs, including Arkansas, UCLA, LSU, Seton Hall and Texas A&M.

During the 2022-23 season at Wofford, Mack averaged 16.6 points per game and earned first-team All-Conference honors. In 2021, Mack earned second-team All-Conference honors and led the Terriers in 3-point shooting (44.8 percent).

Auburn (20-11, 10-8 SEC) defeated No. 14 Tennessee (22-9, 11-7 SEC), 79-70, Saturday at Neville Arena in Auburn, Alabama.

Tennessee surrendered 49 second-half points to the Tigers after entering the half with a four-point lead.

It was the sixth loss in the previous 10 games for the Vols. Tennessee has lost four consecutive games at Neville Arena.

Auburn is the fifth team to score 70 or more points against the Vols this season. Point guard Wendell Green led the Tigers with 24 points.

Tennessee target Juke Harris sets commitment date

Tennessee target, four-star guard Juke Harris, sets his commitment date in March. Harris is a top-50 player in the class of 2024.

Four-star guard Juke Harris will announce his college commitment on March 24.

Harris is choosing between six schools, including Tennessee, Miami, LSU, Kansas, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. He announced his top-six schools in January.

The 6-foot-6, 175-pound guard is from Salisbury High School in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Harris is the No. 44 overall prospect in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 12 shooting guard and No. 6 player in the state of North Carolina, according to the On3 Sports industry rankings.

As a junior, Harris averaged 29.2 points per game and set a new county record for points scored in a season. He scored over 1,500 career points during his first three seasons.

He officially visited Tennessee on Oct. 15, 2022.

Four-star point guard Ahmad Nowell will take his first official visit to Tennessee. Nowell is the No. 8 point guard in the class of 2024.

Four-star point guard Ahmad Nowell will begin his official visit to Tennessee on Monday.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound point guard is from Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Nowell is the No. 45 overall prospect in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 8 point guard and No. 2 player in the state of Pennsylvania, according to the On3 Sports consensus.

He played an integral role in leading Imhotep Institute to winning the City of Palm Championship in December. He also earned second-team Class 5A All-State honors as a sophomore.

Tennessee will be Nowell’s first official visit. Nowell holds offers from multiple Power Five programs, including Kansas, Auburn and Memphis.
