No. 8 Lady Vols defeat Texas A&M for seventh consecutive win.

No. 8 Tennessee (23-3, 14-2 SEC) defeated Texas A&M (15-11, 7-9 SEC), 25-22, 25-11, 25-18, Sunday at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.

Tennessee recorded its 16th sweep of the season and have now won seven consecutive matches.

Jenaisya Moore totaled 17 kills and two assists and posted a .371 hitting percentage for Tennessee.

Morgahn Fingall recorded 12 kills, eight digs, three aces and three blocks. Erykah Lovett finished with 10 digs, five kills and two blocks, while Raeven Chase had seven blocks and five kills.

Setter Caroline Kerr recorded 34 assists, four digs, three kills and one ace, while Yelaniz Torres 10 digs, five assists and one ace for Tennessee, which held the Aggies to a .159 hitting percentage.

The match was the Lady Vols’ 15th sweep of the 2023 season.

Raeven Chase totaled 15 kills and five blocks to lead Tennessee’s hitting attack. Morgahn Fingall recorded 10 kills and one ace for the Lady Vols, who held the Tigers to a .155 hitting percentage.

Jenaisya Moore posted 10 kills, three blocks and eight digs for the Lady Vols.

Caroline Kerr was Tennessee’s leading passer with 36 assists.

Erykah Lovett and Yelkianiz Torres finished the match with eight digs each. Lovett recorded one ace, while Torres totaled four aces and two assists.

No. 10 Tennessee volleyball defeats Ole Miss for fifth consecutive win.

No. 10 Tennessee (21-3, 12-2 SEC) defeated Ole Miss (10-16, 4-11 SEC), 25-7, 25-19, 25-18, Sunday at Food City Center.

The Lady Vols posted a season-high .462 hitting percentage and had 10 hitting errors against Ole Miss. Tennessee averaged 16.3 kills per set.

Sunday’s win was the fifth consecutive for Tennessee.

Jenaisya Moore totaled 13 kills and Erykah Lovett recorded 11 kills, 11 digs and one ace for Tennessee. Raeven Chase recorded nine kills and one block.

Caroline Kerr was Tennessee’s leading passer (41 assists). She also recorded six digs and two aces.

Morgahn Fingall totaled two aces, one block and one assist for the Lady Vols. Tennessee had 49 kills and 47 assists in the match.

Graduate student and outside hitter Morgahn Fingall recorded her 1,500th career kill in the match against Georgia. She totaled 21 kills and six blocks, while recording a .425 hitting percentage.

Jenaisya Moore recorded 20 kills and three blocks for Tennessee. Raeven Chase finished with eight kills for the Lady Vols.

Redshirt freshman setter Caroline Kerr was the Lady Vols’ leading passer with 54 assists.

Yelianiz Torres totaled 14 digs and one ace for Tennessee.

Tennessee has reached 20 wins this season, marking the third time the Lady Vols have accomplished the feat under head coach Eve Rackham Watt and the 25th time in program history.

Two Tennessee players posted double-doubles in the match. Graduate student and outside hitter Jenaisya Moore totaled a career-high tying 23 kills and 16 digs. She also hit .388 and finished with three blocks and six kills in the final set.

Erykah Lovett totaled 15 digs and 12 kills en route to posting her sixth double-double of the season. Morgahn Fingall totaled 17 kills, eight digs, five blocks and two assists.

Redshirt freshman Caroline Kerr was the Lady Vols’ leading passer against Florida.
