No. 8 Tennessee (22-3, 13-2 SEC) defeated LSU (11-14, 6-9 SEC), 25-18, 25-22, 25-18, Friday at Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The match was the Lady Vols’ 15th sweep of the 2023 season.
Raeven Chase totaled 15 kills and five blocks to lead Tennessee’s hitting attack. Morgahn Fingall recorded 10 kills and one ace for the Lady Vols, who held the Tigers to a .155 hitting percentage.
Jenaisya Moore posted 10 kills, three blocks and eight digs for the Lady Vols.
Caroline Kerr was Tennessee’s leading passer with 36 assists.
Erykah Lovett and Yelkianiz Torres finished the match with eight digs each. Lovett recorded one ace, while Torres totaled four aces and two assists.
