Who is Vanessa Hudgens’ husband? Meet MLB hopeful Cole Tucker

Tucker signed a minor-league deal with Seattle.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens arrived to the red carpet ahead of the 2024 Academy Awards, debuting her baby bump and announcing her pregnancy with husband Cole Tucker.

Tucker and Hudgens had met back in 2021 and the couple got married in late 2023 after their engagement in February of that year.

Tucker, who was once considered among the Pirates’ top prospect, has bounced around between the minors and MLB the past few seasons. After one season in the Rockies’ minor league system, Tucker signed a minor-league deal with the Seattle Mariners and reported to spring training in Arizona.

In limited time, he has struggled in spring training — batting just .143 in seven at-bats.

The 27-year-old will likely start the season in Triple-A Tacoma.

Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Cole Tucker seemed more than happy to talk about his new romantic connection with actress/singer Vanessa Hudgens.

He didn’t hold back at spring training when asked about the relationship that just became Instagram official last month, telling reporters Hudgens might come and visit the facility in Florida.

But he doesn’t want her to be treated differently because she’s a celebrity.

“She’s awesome. I love her,” he said on Monday, via KDKA, “but I don’t want it to be, ‘Cole’s dating Vanessa.’ I don’t want it  to be treated any differently than Mitch [Keller] having his wife come down, or Ke[’Bryan] [Hayes] having his girlfriend come down.”

They’re dating!

The rumors and reports were true: last year, there was talk that Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop and outfielder Cole Tucker — taken in the first round of the 2014 MLB draft — and actress/singer Vanessa Hudgens were dating late in 2020.

There was no official word from either of them … until Valentine’s Day on Sunday.

Hudgens posted photos of the two of them on Instagram, with the caption, “It’s you, it’s me, it’s us,” while tagging Tucker. He replied with a “BIG love” in the comments, and also posted his own photo of the two of them.
