Who is Vanessa Hudgens’ husband? Meet MLB hopeful Cole Tucker

Tucker signed a minor-league deal with Seattle.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens arrived to the red carpet ahead of the 2024 Academy Awards, debuting her baby bump and announcing her pregnancy with husband Cole Tucker.

Tucker and Hudgens had met back in 2021 and the couple got married in late 2023 after their engagement in February of that year.

Tucker, who was once considered among the Pirates’ top prospect, has bounced around between the minors and MLB the past few seasons. After one season in the Rockies’ minor league system, Tucker signed a minor-league deal with the Seattle Mariners and reported to spring training in Arizona.

In limited time, he has struggled in spring training — batting just .143 in seven at-bats.

The 27-year-old will likely start the season in Triple-A Tacoma.

The Green Bay Packers are hosting Northern Illinois wide receiver Cole Tucker on an official top-30 visit ahead of the 2023 NFL draft, according to Bill Huber of SI.com.

Tucker (6-1, 193) caught 155 passes for 2,030 yards and 10 touchdowns over 53 games at Northern Illinois. In 2022, he hauled in 45 passes for 632 yards and four scores. Tucker also returned 43 punts for 156 yards (long of 27) during his collegiate career.

At the Northern Illinois pro day, Tucker ran the 40-yard dash in 4.67 seconds,  hit 37″ in the vertical leap, covered 9-7 in the broad jump, finished the three-cone drill in 6.91 seconds and the short shuttle in 4.23 seconds and completed 10 reps in the bench press. His Relative Athletic Score is 4.39 out of 10.0.

Dane Brugler of The Athletic did not rank Tucker among his top 50 receivers in the 2023 draft.

The Packers need to add wide receivers during and after the draft. Tucker could be a late Day 3 (Green Bay has four seventh-round picks) or priority free agent option.

Pirates’ Cole Tucker made a sensational over-the-shoulder catch to spark a double play

The Pittsburgh Pirates may be out of playoff contention, but Cole Tucker will at least be on one highlight reel as the season ends.

In the top of the seventh of Friday’s game between the Pirates and the Cincinnati Reds, Tucker Barnhart popped up a pitch on a three-two count with one out. Despite it being a pop up, the ball was not an easy one to nab, yet Tucker sprinted from the infield to make a diving, over-the-shoulder catch in right field.

Tucker then popped up from making the catch and threw out the runner heading back to first for the double play to end the inning. Here’s how the sensational catch and double play went down.

What an effort there from Tucker to not only hustle and stretch out for the initial catch, but great awareness too to realize the runner at first was making a break for it and to catch him for the double play.

We’ve seen a lot of really great catches this MLB season, so add this one to the list!

Vanessa Hudgens and Pirates’ Cole Tucker are now Instagram official

They’re dating!

The rumors and reports were true: last year, there was talk that Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop and outfielder Cole Tucker — taken in the first round of the 2014 MLB draft — and actress/singer Vanessa Hudgens were dating late in 2020.

There was no official word from either of them … until Valentine’s Day on Sunday.

Hudgens posted photos of the two of them on Instagram, with the caption, “It’s you, it’s me, it’s us,” while tagging Tucker. He replied with a “BIG love” in the comments, and also posted his own photo of the two of them.
