Angel Reese is enjoying the time available to her during the offseason while she heals.

As Reese explained about her season-ending injury a few weeks back, she would need time to heal once her surgery was complete before diving into any rehab or offseason work. So, how is Angel spending her offseason with time on her hands? Seemingly, she is traveling and living her best life.

Reese stopped by a San Francisco 49ers-Los Angeles Rams game Sunday before appearing at an Usher concert hours later. In a new video, Reese dances away (and even drops a few notes) while Usher performs one of his well-known serenades to celebrity guests. He can even be heard at one point saying, “Angel, [you’re] tall,” to which Reese hysterically responds, “Well, duh!”

A’ja Wilson jokingly roasted her Aces teammates for wanting a photo with Usher after Sky upset loss

A hot mic caught A’ja Wilson roasting her teammates after an upset loss to the Chicago Sky, and we cannot stop howling about the video.

Listen, the Sky had the Aces in the blender on Tuesday. Las Vegas had no answer as Chennedy Charter dropped 34 and had poor Kelsey Plum in distress, trying to cover her. What’s more, Angel Reese made another stop in double-double land and seemed to be back to form after the Liberty broke her streak. A’ja Wilson did have a BLISTERING 28 points, 14 rebounds, five blocks and three steals, but she didn’t get as much help as she probably needed to help the Aces secure a win.

Postgame, nearby hot mics caught her jokingly roasting her teammates about wanting pictures with the Usher, who was in the building to take in a game. In a very NSFW video, she seemingly says to Sydney Colson, who was standing nearby, “They ain’t did [expletive] all day, but they want to take a [expletive] picture with Usher.”

To be fair, that didn’t stop her teammates from getting their photos. It still went down, and Usher happily obliged.

Usher’s expletive-filled BET Awards speech was mostly muted and fans were perplexed

BET struggling to find the mute button all night but locating (and misusing) it for Usher had fans frazzled.

Usher received a lifetime achievement award during the BET Awards on Sunday. His acceptance speech was filled with so many expletives that the network muted nearly all of it, leaving fans perplexed.

BET is known for doing a TERRIBLE job of managing language at its awards shows. The censor for bad words is either never there or VERY late. Sunday’s BET Awards show was no different. The network must have missed what felt like hundreds of colorful expressions all night long.

So, when Usher got up to rattle off his acceptance speech (Warning: NSFW language) for his lifetime achievement award, BET suddenly decided to get its life together and mute words — only it muted so much of the speech that fans at home couldn’t hear it.

People watching the show were so befuddled and irritated that they took to social media to complain. Here’s what they said:

The Kansas City Chiefs continue to add to their honors from the 2023 season. Pro Bowl quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be in the running for another off-season award this summer.

The reigning Super Bowl MVP is a Sportsman of the Year nominee at the 2024 BET Awards this Sunday. The Black Entertainment Television network annually recognizes artists, entertainers, and athletes across multiple categories. Mahomes’ competition in the category includes Jalen Hurts from the Philadelphia Eagles, who won the award last year, Anthony Edwards, Gervonta Davis, Jalen Brunson, Kyrie Irving, Lebron James, and Stephen Curry.

Mahomes has been nominated multiple times for the award but has yet to secure a victory. He will be looking to end his drought, similar to his nomination for next month’s Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.

The BET Awards 2024 will air live on BET on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 7 pm CT. For the third consecutive year, actor Taraji P. Henson will host the event, featuring many top musical performers, including a special tribute to Super Bowl LVIII halftime show performer and music icon Usher.

Swizz Beatz fiercely defended Alicia Keys over Super Bowl halftime show haters

Music fans thought something was going on between Usher and Alicia Keys, but Swizz Beatz isn’t buying it.

Swizz Beatz has seen the rowdy reaction music fans had to Alicia Keys’ Super Bowl performance with Usher, and he is not happy about all the shenanigans.

Usher put on a show-stopping performance during Super Bowl 58, complete with Vegas performers, marching bands and even some help from one of his previous musical collaborators, Alicia Keys. Keys and Usher surprised the crowd and fans watching with a rendition of If I Ain’t Got You and My Boo. However, not many people are talking about the singing between the pair.

A viral moment of Usher wrapping his arms around Alicia had music fans buzzing and joking about Keys’ husband, Swizz Beatz. Of course, news traveled quickly online and found its way back to Swizz, who squashed rumors that something nefarious was up.

Usher, as we all expected, delivered one heck of a Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday.

We got to see him perform some classics, sing while roller skating, snuggle up with Alicia Keys, and maybe inspire some Dodgeball jokes.

Of course, because it’s the Super Bowl halftime show, a meme or two was bound to come out of it, and so far, as far as I can tell, it’s one of a closeup of a very sweaty Usher performing. That should tell you how much effort he was putting in.

Okay, this was pretty funny.

The Super Bowl halftime show always inspires some great moments and some great jokes. Usher’s fantastic performance accomplished both.

Whether it was the music legend skating around on roller skates or performing with Alicia Keys, there was plenty to talk about during the star-studded halftime show.

One of the best parts of the performance was Usher teaming up with Ludacris and Lil Jon to bring back the 2004 club anthem “Yeah!” for everyone in Las Vegas and at home.

However, Usher and Ludacris wore these really fascinating purple outfits that reminded everyone of the movie Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.

In that film, Ben Stiller’s villainous White Goodman led the team you rooted against, the Globo Gym Purple Cobras, who wore purple outfits when they played on the dodgeball court in the movie.

Usher and Ludacris sporting those purple outfits had everyone thinking about Dodgeball and the Purple Cobras in particular.
