TV, commentators set for Georgia-Samford game

How can Georgia Bulldogs fans watch the Samford game? And who is commentating the contest?

The highly ranked Georgia Bulldogs host the Samford Bulldogs in Georgia football’s first home game since winning the 2021 national championship. Georgia football plays Samford on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. ET

Samford is coming off a 27-17 win over Kennesaw State. Samford went 4-7 last season, but has an offense capable of putting up some points.

Georgia football’s return to Athens should be a good one. Georgia dominated Oregon in a 49-3 win in Week 1.

The Georgia-Samford game will be televised on the SEC Network. SEC Network commentator Taylor Zarzour will handle the play-by-play. Former Georgia offensive lineman Matt Stinchcomb will serve as the analyst for the game. Alyssa Lang will work as the SEC Network’s sideline reporter.

Georgia football’s radio team of Scott Howard (play-by-play), Eric Zeier (analyst), and DJ Shockley (sideline reporter) does an excellent job of covering the Bulldogs.

TV, commentators set for Georgia vs. Oregon game

The Georgia-Oregon game will be televised on ABC at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 3

College football is finally back. Fans received a taste of the action in Week 0. Now, Georgia Bulldog and Oregon Duck fans can finally watch their beloved teams again in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.

Georgia football’s last game was a national championship victory over Alabama. That is in the rearview mirror now. The 2022 edition of the Georgia Bulldogs has to prove itself.

Georgia’s season opener against Oregon will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 3. The game is being played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The contest is considered a neutral site, but some Oregon fans may disagree with that.

The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game will be televised on ABC. The television commentators for the game are Sean McDonough, Todd Blackledge and Molly McGrath.

The ESPN radio commentators are Marc Kestecher, Kelly Stouffer and Ian Fitzsimmons.

The No. 12 Oregon Ducks finished last season losing three of their final four games, including a pair of blowouts to Utah. First-year Oregon head coach Dan Lanning just won a national championship as the defensive coordinator at Georgia. Now, he will face his former boss, Kirby Smart.

No. 3 Georgia won the national championship last season, but lost a record-breaking 15 players to the 2022 NFL draft. Smart and Georgia have a strong roster and return starting quarterback Stetson Bennett. The Dawgs need to get out to a strong start against Oregon.

Georgia’s last loss in Mercedes-Benz Stadium came against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2021 SEC championship game.

Former Georgia Bulldog announcing Mississippi State at UGA game

The SEC Network commentators are set for the Mississippi State Bulldogs at Georgia Bulldogs football game.

Former Georgia Bulldog quarterback and SEC Champion D.J. Shockley is among the commentators for the Mississippi State at Georgia football game. Additionally, Dave Neal and Lauren Sisler will be on the call for the SEC Network broadcast.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs come into Athens with a 2-4 record under first year head coach Mike Leach. The Bulldogs utilize an air raid offense and shocked defending National Champion LSU on the opening week on the season.

Mike Leach’s squad last played on Nov. 7, which was a 24-17 win over Vanderbilt. The Mississippi State offense has struggled in all of their other games and hasn’t scored more than 14 points in all of their four defeats.

Likewise, the Georgia Bulldogs haven’t played since Nov. 7 when Georgia fell to hated rival Florida. Georgia hasn’t played in a non-College Football Playoff relevant regular season game since the 2016 season. The Dawgs are a prideful team and will want to prove that they’re still an elite college football team.

The Georgia Bulldogs left Athens a 3-0 team back on Oct. 10 following their last home game, a 44-21 victory over the Tennessee Volunteers. Things have changed quite a bit since Georgia’s last home game.

The University of Georgia versus Mississippi State game is set to air on TV at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday (Nov. 21).
