Prediction
Toronto 2, New England 1
Moneyline (ML)
TORONTO FC (+125) is the heavy favorite here despite the fact New England (+230) is tied with them atop the Group C table with two wins apiece. Still, Toronto’s offense has been on point, notching six goals through the first two matches.
Of course, they have also yielded five goals, and they match the Revs with a plus-1 goal differential. Needless to say, this will be a hotly contested match, even if the temperatures are a bit on the mild side before the heat of the Central Florida day gets really cranked up.
Over/Under (O/U)
OVER 2.5 (-150) is the way to go, although it will cost you. TFC is averaging 3.0 goals per match so far in Group C play. New England has conceded just one goal in two matches, but the Revolution haven’t faced an offense as capable as Toronto’s. Look, it won’t be an end-to-end shootout, but we’ll see at least three total goals in this battle for Group C supremacy.
