Stevie Nicks wore a Taylor Swift Tortured Poets bracelet during her SNL performance

The two singers have been friends for over a decade.

Stevie Nicks returned this weekend for her second appearance on Saturday Night Live, four decades after her initial performance in 1983. Nicks performed two songs, “The Lighthouse” and “Edge of Seventeen” as the musical guest for host Ariana Grande.

Fans of pop star Taylor Swift noticed a nod to the 14-time Grammy winner as Nicks wore a bracelet for Swift’s most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department. Nicks has a strong relationship with Swift, with the duo maintaining a friendship that has lasted over 10 years.

Swift mentioned Nicks in her Tortured Poets song “Clara Bow” and performed the song live when the former Fleetwood Mac singer was in attendance at her Eras Tour show in Dublin back in June.

An absolutely flawless add to the concert.

Taylor Swift added seven songs from her newest albumThe Tortured Poets Department — to the setlist for her Eras Tour show, and the sold-out crowd in Paris got to see them for the first time on Thursday.

The performances were flawless, adding incredible costumes and choreography to an already amazing show. For the first six songs of the TTPD era, Swift donned a white gown, sometimes with a white jacket similar to that of a lion tamer.

After finishing her performance of “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” Swift fell onto a prop sofa before being helped up to transition into her costume for “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.” It was perfect.

A flawless addition to the Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift resumed her epic Eras Tour on Thursday evening, kicking off the European leg of the tour with the first of four shows in Paris, France.

There were a lot of changes, which was anticipated, as she worked the setlist to include songs from her recently released 11th studio album.

The Tortured Poets Department, which released on April 19 during the pause in the tour, was added in after her 1989 era and before the surprise songs segment. Seven songs — or portions of songs — were included from TTPD:

  • “But Daddy I Love Him”
  • “So High School”
  • “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me”
  • “Down Bad”
  • “Fortnight”
  • “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived”
  • “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart”

Swift went with the black-and-white motif for the set, wearing a white gown similar to the one seen in her “Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)” music video before switching to a black glittery ensemble for the finale of the era. She also performed “loml” as the acoustic surprise song on the piano.

The new choreography and costuming was phenomenal, and TTPD fits right in with the show.

Could Taylor Swift be adding a Tortured Poets Department portion to the Eras Tour setlist?

Fans have noticed some interesting details in a recently released rehearsal video.

Taylor Swift’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department, has been breaking records left and right. It was the most streamed album in a single day, the first single — “Fortnight” (feat. Post Malone) — set a single-day record and the album became the first to earn one billion streams in a week.

Now concert goers might be able to hear Swift perform some of the songs live on the European leg of her mega popular Eras Tour as some fans are theorizing about changes to the setlist.

In a YouTube Shorts video posted to Swift’s channel and Instagram story, the 14-time Grammy winner is seen rehearsing for her first Paris show, which is on Thursday, May 9. Immediately, Swifties noticed a few outfits and set pieces that looked new to the show.

In one clip, you can see backup dancers with hats and sticks, something that didn’t appear in the previous Eras Tour iterations.

In another, Swift appears to be standing against a railing. Nothing new, right? She could just be practicing for her performance of “The Man.” But if you look closer, it seems as though the Tortured Poets logo is in what seems to be a bed frame.

There is also the fact that in the shot with the bed frame, Swift appears to be wearing booties similar to what she wore in the “Fortnight” music video.

It’ll be a little under a fortnight until we find out what — if any — changes are made to the Eras Tour setlist, but it’s fun to hypothesize until then.

Kelce sung the praises of Swift’s 11th studio album.

One of those listeners includes Donna Kelce, the mother of her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

In a recent interview with People, Donna said, “I listened to the whole album, and I listened to it all morning long when it was released.”

The 31-song epic spans over two hours of listening time and travels the gauntlet of every emotion, including a few songs that are believed to be about Travis Kelce.

Donna, who attended multiple Chiefs games with Swift over the course of last season, had nothing but praise for the 14-time Grammy winner.

“I was just very impressed,” she told People. “She is a very talented woman, and I think it is probably her best work.”

The Chiefs rallied behind a Taylor Swift song that’s probably about Travis Kelce

They are on a pretty good winning streak, to be honest.

Taylor Swift’s newest album, The Tortured Poets Department, has been a major topic of discussion since it dropped on April 19. The 31-song, two-plus hour catharsis in musical form has dominated on streaming platforms, and it seems like everyone is talking about it.

That everyone extends to the NFL, where the Kansas City Chiefs seem to be getting in on the fun. Swift was a regular at several Chiefs games last season, including the entire postseason and the team’s second-straight Super Bowl victory.

Tuesday afternoon, the official Chiefs account tweeted out a lyric to one of Swift’s songs that is widely assumed to be about boyfriend (and KC tight end) Travis Kelce. The line, “We been on a winning streak” from the song “The Alchemy” was accompanied by a picture of the team’s Super Bowl trophies.

The perfect flex.

A Taylor Swift lyric from TTPD’s Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me has become an instant meme

“You wouldn’t last an hour in the asylum where they raised me.”

With Taylor Swift’s new album dropping last week to huge streaming numbers, The Tortured Poets Department has been a major topic of conversation. And naturally, we’ve gotten a meme out of it as fans have taken a line from “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?” and run with it.

In the song, Swift sings, “… I wanna snarl and show you just how disturbed this has made me, you wouldn’t last an hour in the asylum where they raised me.” The lyric — and song as a whole — references the public’s opinion of the pop star and the challenges of growing up under the microscope of celebrity.

Fans have gotten creative, posting the “asylums” that raised them.

Wait, what is Emma Stone doing there?

If you look closely at the liner notes for Taylor Swift’s new album The Tortured Poets Department, you’ll notice something interesting for the song Florida!!! (feat. Florence + The Machine). Well, someone interesting rather. Emily Jean Stone is listed for “oddities” under the bop about the Sunshine State.

For those unfamiliar, Emily Jean Stone is the one and only Emma Stone, a longtime friend of the 14-time Grammy winner. It’s unclear what “oddities” really means, as it’s the only credit of that nature on the album. The track features the incredible Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine, and there doesn’t seem to be any additional vocals.

There’s a possibility Stone was just hanging out in the studio when the song was recorded and Swift threw her in the credits as a nod to her buddy. This isn’t the first time Stone has been connected to Swift’s music, either.

Fans think the vault track “When Emma Falls In Love” from 2023’s Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) could be about the La La Land actress, although Swift has never confirmed it.

Regardless, we love “Florida!! (feat. Florence + The Machine) and all its oddities.
