Here is this weekend’s list of 2025 & 2026 who visited Texas A&M

Another weekend, another long list of 2025 & 2026 visitors who made their way to College Station this weekend.

Texas A&M head football coach Mike Elko is moving closer and closer to securing what can only be described as a statement-making recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, already securing commitments from 4-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins and 4-star cornerback Deyjhon Pettaway last weekend.

Keeping the recruiting momentum alive, this weekend’s group of visitors included the likes of several high-priority 2025 recruits led by 4-star running back Tory Blaylock, 4-star wide receiver Taz Williams, and 3-star wide receiver and son of Hall of Fame RB Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis Jr.

However, 2024 5-star athlete and current Texas A&M commit Terry Bussey’s final visit to CSTAT before signing with either the A&M, LSU, or Georgia during National Singing Day on Wednesday, Feb 7, still looms large until his final announcement is made.

While Elko and his staff have done everything in their collective power to persuade Bussey to keep his commitment to the program, plenty of future talent have become acquainted with the Maroon & White, with the potential for more commitments to come.

Here are all the 2025 and 2026 visitors who made their way to College Station this weekend.

Another batch of highly touted 2025 prospects have made their way to Texas A&M

According to TexAgs’ Ryan Brauninger, over 30 Texas-based prospects are visiting Texas A&M this weekend, including several key 2025 recruits.

Texas A&M head football coach Mike Elko has already proven his recruiting prowess. Already landing multiple prospects in the 2025 recruiting class, Elko and his staff are currently hosting 2024 5-star athlete and current commit Terry Bussey before he makes his final signing decision on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

Joining Bussey this weekend, TexAgs’ Ryan Brauninger has confirmed that over 30 Texas-based prospects from multiple recruiting classes have made their way to College Station this Saturday, including several high-priority 2025 recruits led by 4-star running back Tory Blaylock, 4-star wide receiver Taz Williams and 3-star wide receiver, and son of Hall of Fame RB Jerome Bettis, Jerome Bettis Jr.

While Bussey’s impending decision has been the central news story in Aggie media over the past week, the recruiting momentum in the 2025 cycle has quietly continued building, as the potential to land multiple commitments this week is more possible than not.

With Texas and Oklahoma set to enter the SEC at the start of the 2024 season, hosting Taz Williams and Tory Blaylock this weekend is a significant win for Elko thus far, hoping to keep both players in the state and out of the Longhorns and Sooners’ grasps.

Here are the 2025 and 2026 prospects who visited Texas A&M for junior day this weekend

Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko has already proven his recruiting chops after a successful junior day hosting weekend.

For those still doubting Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko’s ability to recruit, this weekend’s successful junior day already yielded the Aggie’s third commit in the 2025 recruiting class, as 4-star cornerback Deyjhon Pettaway committed to the program in the late hours of Saturday night.

Joining 4-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins and 3-star offensive lineman Joshua Moore, more recruiting momentum looks to be on the horizon, as nearly every 2025 and 2026 prospect who visited College Station this weekend made their way to social media to thank every coach and family member involved during their recruiting journey.

Elko’s recent success through the transfer portal this offseason, already rebuilding A&M’s 2024 roster in less than two months at the helm, should continue to pay dividends in recruiting, displaying a strikingly polar opposite demeanor compared to former head coach Jimbo Fisher, displaying a non-sales man approach with this relationship building tactics.

Here is a list of nearly every prospect who visited College Station this weekend for junior day.

Over 300 top prospects of the 2024, 2025, and 2026 classes to attend Texas A&M’s showdown vs. Alabama

A number of the top prospects in the 2024, 2025, and 2026 recruiting classes will be in attendance to watch Texas A&M take on Alabama.

Texas A&M (4-1, 2-0 SEC) welcomes No. 11 Alabama (4-1, 2-0 SEC) this weekend in what will be a must-watch spectacle. Unsurprisingly, that reality extends to some of the top football recruits in the country.

Over 300 prospects are expected to descend upon College Station for this week’s monumental matchup between the Aggies and the Crimson Tide. Elite talent from the 2024, 2025, and 2026 recruiting classes will be in attendance, marking a noteworthy recruiting moment that could shape the future trajectory of Texas A&M’s football program.

Given that the full list is extensive, we won’t go into every single reported prospect that will take in the action. However, there are a few names that jump off the page, and who are on A&M’s early target list.

Among them are 2024 5-star cornerback Kobe Black and 2024 4-star edge Solomon Williams. Additionally, 5-star cornerback Devin Sanchez, 4-star receiver Adrian Wilson, and 4-star linebacker Kelvin Riggins are all top names that comprise the 2025 class.

As it pertains to Sanchez, the Aggies have reportedly been rising on his list of interested schools, joining the likes of Alabama, Ohio State, and LSU.

The 2026 class will also be represented by none other than Nashville (Tenn.) Christian School quarterback Jared Curtis. The No. 2 rated recruit, according to 247sports, visited Aggieland last summer.

The influx of top-tier prospects comes at a moment in which Texas A&M is riding high on the recruiting trail. The Aggies’ 2024 class has skyrocketed to No. 3 in 247Sports’ rankings, highlighted by the recent commitment of 5-star athlete Terry Bussey. Bussey joined fellow Aggie 5-star commits Cameron Coleman and Dominick McKinley.

Texas A&M vs. Alabama will kick off on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 2:30 p.m. CT from inside Kyle Field, and the game will air on CBS.

2026 4-Star QB out of Tennessee will visit Texas A&M this weekend

A part of a long visitors list for Texas A&M vs. Alabama, 2026 4-star QB Jared Curtis will reportedly also be in attendance for a visit.

Texas A&M’s (4-1, 2-0 SEC) ever-growing visitors list this weekend as the Aggies take on the visiting Alabama Crimson Tide (4-1, 2-0 SEC) will include one of the top signal callers in the 2026 recruiting class, as four-star quarterback Jared Curtis will take an unofficial campus visit, and attend the highly awaited matchup.

According to 247Sports Composite, Curtis is currently positioned as the 20th-ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle, the 2nd-ranked quarterback, and the No.1-ranked player in Tennessee.

Early last month, Curtis released his initial Top 10 program list, which includes Georgia, Michigan, Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State, Tennessee, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.

With even more room to grow, Curtis currently stands at 6-3 and nearly 220 pounds, throwing for 2,285 yards, 27 touchdowns, and only eight interceptions, including 481 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the ground, all while leading Nashville Christian to a 10-3 record and the Division II-A title game in 2022.

Already receiving offers from nearly every blue-blood program in the country, this will be his second campus visit since June 2, as Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher and his staff aren’t wasting any time preparing for the future at the most critical position in the game.

Texas A&M will host No.10 Alabama on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 2:30 p.m. CT, inside Kyle Field (TV: CBS).

2026 4-Star quarterback out of Tennessee places Texas A&M in his Top 10

Looking ahead to the talented 2026 recruiting class, 4-star quarterback Jared Curtis has placed Texas A&M in his Top 10 program list.

Texas A&M’s recruiting focus will officially shift to the 2025 cycle as soon as the entirety of the 2024 class is signed in February. Still, recruiting never stops for those of you who follow my usual mantra. Even though Head Coach Jimbo Fisher and his 2023 Aggie football squad are completely focused on the season at hand, an elite prospect out of the 2026 class has Fisher’s attention.

On Monday, 2026, four-star quarterback Jared Curtis released his initial Top 10 program list, which includes Georgia, Michigan, Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State, Tennessee, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.

According to 247Sports, Curtis is currently positioned as the 2nd-ranked player in the 2026 cycle, the 2nd-ranked quarterback, and the No.1-ranked player in Tennessee, as elite future signal callers like Curtis are now consistently considering College Station as a viable future destination at a consistent rate since Fisher and Co. landed current starting quarterback Conner Weigman in the 2022 recruiting class.

Hitting an early growth spurt, Curtis currently stands at 6-3 and nearly 220 pounds, throwing for 2,285 yards, 27 touchdowns, and only eight interceptions, including 481 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the ground, all while leading Nashville Christian to a 10-3 record and the Division II-A title game in 2022.

Here is 247Sports National Recruiting Director Andrew Ivins’s brief scouting report after Curtis’s impressive freshman campaign.

A big-armed quarterback prospect with some moxie. Owns a favorable build having measured roughly 6-foot-3, 215 pounds as a 9th grader. Started football career off playing running back before getting a look under center. Instantly found success at his new position, earning Mr. Football runner-up honors in Tennessee after a freshman campaign in which he won 10 games and totaled just over 2,750 yards of offense. Not afraid to dial up the deep ball and tends to connect on plenty of vertical shots. Also excels at hitting timing-based breaking routes over the middle.

Curtis recently took his first unofficial visit to College Station on June 2, and I’d expect several visits in the future after placing the Aggies on his top list.

2026 4-Star CB Dequane Prevo has released his Top 13 program list

Texas A&M, a favorite to land 2026 4-Star CB Dequane Prevo, has just been included in the rising star’s Top 13 program list.

It’s never too early to develop long-lasting relationships within future recruiting classes. While fan bases may question the focus on the 2026 recruiting class now, Texas A&M is already a favorite to land one of the top athletes in the cycle.

This week, 2026 four-star cornerback Dequane Prevo released his initial  Top 13 program list, which includes Oregon, Ole Miss, Penn State, Arkansas,  Oklahoma, Auburn, Missouri, Texas, Florida State, USC, Missouri State, Houston, and Texas A&M.

Again, we are in the early stages of Prevo’s recruiting journey; as his offers continue to pile up, he is currently positioned as the 64th-ranked player in the cycle, the 7th-ranked athlete, and the 6th-ranked player in Texas. Listed at 5-10 and 160 pounds, Prevo’s speed, coverage ability, impressive length, and position versatility on offense vaulted him to the varsity team as a 9th grader at Liberty-Eylau (TX) in 2022.

Even though any current prediction fails to hold a lot of weight, 247Sports National Recruiting Director Steve Wiltfong has already predicted Prevo to land with the Maroon and White, for whatever that’s worth!
