Steelers’ HOF safety returning to Pittsburgh in Week 11

2020 Hall of Fame inductee S Donnie Shell has been confirmed to be in attendance for Pittsburgh’s Week 11 contest against Baltimore.

Plenty of familiar faces have returned to the city of Pittsburgh this season to watch their former team and participate in pre-game tailgate activities with fans. Former Steelers such as WR Antonio Brown, RB Le’Veon Bell, and K Jeff Reed have all attended the Terrible Tailgate—an amazing fan-organized tailgate experience for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

On social media, the Terrible Tailgate has announced that on November 17th, Week 11’s home game versus the Baltimore Ravens, the game will feature an extra special guest for fans to meet—2020 Hall of Fame safety Donnie Shell.

While initially teasing the mystery HOF guest, the Terrible Tailgate provided fans with exactly who the Steelers legend in question is through the ticket sales information.

Shell was a vital part of the legendary Steel Curtain defense in the 1970s, helping the team win four Super Bowl during his tenure with the team.  Donnie ‘Torpedo’ Shell was one of the hardest-hitting safeties the NFL has ever seen, and is beloved to Pittsburgh fans all over the world.

Two-time Super Bowl champion and one of the greatest Steelers’ kickers of all-time, Jeff Reed, is attending the Steelers’ Week 8 contest.

Fans of the 2000’s Pittsburgh Steelers rejoice!  Two-time Super Bowl champion, third-all time Steelers’ leading scorer, and one of the greatest kickers in Pittsburgh history, Jeff Reed, is attending his former team’s Week 8 contest against the New York Giants.

Former Steelers’ All-Pro RB and WR confirm Week 7 return

Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown are trying to correct their sour exits from the Steel City by confirming their attendance at Week 7’s game.

The formerly disgruntled pair of Steelers’ All-Pro players, RB Le’Veon Bell and WR Antonio Brown, made headlines last week as they attended Pittsburgh’s Week 6 contest in Las Vegas against the Raiders.  They not only supported their team, they also participated in the ‘Terrible Tailgate‘ with fans.

It appeared that the pair was not quite finished earning back the hearts of the ‘Steel City’ faithful, as Brown had posted on social media that this upcoming weekend he would be returning to Pittsburgh.  While speculation ran rampant as to whether he would attend the game or not, his former teammate Bell seemed to all but confirm the rumors.

Are you excited for the return of two-thirds of the ‘Killer Bs’?  The duo created a plethora of memories for the Pittsburgh Steelers and seem to be set on making new moments with fans.  Perhaps a potential reunion with Ben Roethlisberger is too much to ask for, but fans of the these elite players can only dream of such a day to arrive.

Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown reunite at Week 6’s Terrible Tailgate

Antonio Brown has started his reunion tour one week early, meeting up with his former teammate Le’Veon Bell at Week 6’s Terrible Tailgate.

Nostalgia is in the air for fans who loved the ‘Killer B’ era of Steelers history.  Two out of the three ‘Bs’, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown, visited Las Vegas this Sunday morning to party with the Terrible Tailgate.

While both former Steelers players have had their issues with the team in the past, it’s heartwarming to see the two talented playmakers, who created so many amazing memories for fans, reconcile their differences and enjoy the energy of Pittsburgh once again.

Antonio Brown recently made headlines when he indicated he would be returning to Pittsburgh next weekend.  Could Bell and Brown attend the Week 7 contest, where their former team hosts the New York Jets?

While it may be wishful thinking, fingers should be crossed for a possible reunion of all ‘Killer B’ members, including the legendary Steelers QB, Ben Roethlisberger.

Bell and Brown will be watching their former team attempt to stop their two-game losing streak against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6, on October 13th, at 4:05 PM EST.
