This is the fifth straight year these two teams are playing with the series split 2-2 overall across the last four. The Giants are 3-0-1 against the spread (ATS) in those contests.

Jones’ first-career start came against the Bucs in Week 3 of 2019 and the Giants won 32-31 as 5-point road underdogs.

Tampa Bay beat New York 25-23 on Monday Night Football in Week 8 last season but the Giants covered as 13-point home underdogs.

New York had more first downs and total yardage but was minus-one in turnover differential and was unable to connect on pivotal plays in the second half.

Buccaneers at Washington head-to-head

These teams just met in an NFC Wild Card Game in Washington Jan. 9, with QB Tom Brady and the Bucs emerging with a 31-23 victory as the Over cashed. WFT covered the 10-point number in a game QB Taylor Heinicke started, so these two quarterbacks have faced each other before. These teams haven’t met in the regular season since Nov. 11, 2018 when Washington claimed a 13-3 road victory.

Buccaneers at Eagles head-to-head

There isn’t a lot to glean from the previous Buccaneers-Eagles meetings as Tampa Bay last beat Philly 27-21 in Sept. 2018. The Bucs were led by QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Eagles had 2017 Super Bowl MVP QB Nick Foles under center.

The last time Brady faced the Eagles was as a member of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII when he was outdueled by Foles despite passing for 505 yards with a 3:0 TD:INT ratio and a 115.4 QB Rating.

Since the start of the last season (the beginning of the Tompa Bay era), the Bucs are 4-6 ATS as a road favorite with a plus-4.3 spread differential. Philly is 0-2 ATS with a minus-4.0 spread differential at home this season in head coach Nick Sirianni’s first year on the job.

First look: Miami Dolphins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Miami Dolphins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 5 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.
