First look: Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 4 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Philadelphia Eagles (2-1) will face their 3rd NFC South team in a row when they visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) Sunday. Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium is set for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Eagles vs. Buccaneers odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

Philadelphia escaped with a 15-12 Week 3 win as a 2.5-point road underdog at New Orleans. RB Saquon Barkley continues to be the catalyst for the Eagles as he ran for 147 yards with 2 TDs on 17 carries — that’s an 8.6 yards- per-carry average. Both of his touchdowns came in the 4th quarter and gave Philly the lead — the 2nd one for good with 1:01 to go. The first NFC South opponent was the Atlanta Falcons, who stunned the Eagles 22-21 with a late rally in Philly in the Week 2 Monday Night Football game.

Tampa Bay was embarrassed 26-7 by the now 1-2 Denver Broncos Sunday, failing to cover as a 6-point home favorite. The Buccaneers allowed 352 yards of offense, while only gaining 223 themselves. Tampa Bay also turned the ball over twice — a fumble and an interception — and the Under (40.5) hit.

First look: Washington Commanders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Washington Commanders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 1 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Washington Commanders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers open their seasons Sunday. Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Commanders vs. Buccaneers odds from BetMGM Sportsbook before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

The Buccaneers finished last season with a 9-8 record, winning the NFC South. Despite a rocky 4-7 start, they went 5-1 down the stretch to clinch the division. After defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card round, their playoff run ended with a loss to the Detroit Lions. This season, QB Baker Mayfield is back as the signal-caller, with key targets like WRs Mike Evans and Chris Godwin returning. RB Rachaad White will lead the backfield, supported by RB Bucky Irving. Tampa Bay’s defense allowed 19.1 points per game last year, and it’ll look to build on that with a strong preseason showing.

The Commanders are coming off a rough 4-13 season, finishing at the bottom of the NFC East. They started strong with wins against the Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos, but struggled badly afterward. QB Sam Howell, who threw 21 interceptions last year, is now with the Seattle Seahawks, and rookie QB Jayden Daniels is stepping in to replace him. The offense scored just 19.4 points per game last season, while the defense allowed 30.5. In preseason, the Commanders went 1-2, with a win over the New England Patriots in the finale. Key players this year include WR Terry McLaurin, WR Dyami Brown, TE Zach Ertz, and RB Brian Robinson Jr., but there’s uncertainty with the new rookie QB leading the charge.

The Buccaneers suffered their 1st loss of the season Monday night against the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles 25-11. It was also Tampa Bay’s first non-cover of the season, while the Under (44) connected for the 2nd time in 3 outings. The 25 points allowed were the most given up, too, as the Bucs allowed 17 points in each of the 1st 2 games.

The Saints suffered an 18-17 loss in Green Bay in Week 3, failing to cover as a 1-point road favorite. The loss was costly, too, as QB Derek Carr suffered a sprained AC joint in the shoulder, and he is considered week-to-week. It was the 2nd 1-point game in 3 outings for the Saints, and all 3 contests have been decided by 3 or fewer points. The Under is 3-0 so far. QB Jameis Winston is expected to start against his original NFL team.

Buccaneers at Saints head-to-head

The Buccaneers swept the season series in 2022, with the road team covering in each of the contests. The last time New Orleans won was a prime-time game in Tampa by a 9-0 score on Dec. 19, 2021, as the Saints stunned the Bucs and then-QB Tom Brady as 11.5-point underdogs.

Defense has reigned supreme in this NFC South rivalry, with the Under cashing in each of the past 3 meetings, and 5 of the past 6 battles overall. However, the Over is 3-2 in the past 5 meetings in the Crescent City.

First look: Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers odds and lines

Looking at Monday’s Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 3 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) travel south to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0) at Raymond James Stadium Monday. Kickoff is at 7:15 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN+). Below, we look at Eagles vs. Buccaneers odds from FanDuel Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s NFL picks and predictions.

The Eagles picked up a 31-24 victory over the Minnesota Vikings as 6-point favorites on Thursday Night Football in Week 2. That was a slight improvement after a mediocre showing against the New England Patriots in Week 1.

The Buccaneers returned home for a Week 1 victory against the Vikings to topple the Chicago Bears 27-17 as 1-point favorites. WR Mike Evans snagged 171 yards and a touchdown on 6 receptions as QB Baker Mayfield went for 317 yards and a touchdown through the air while adding 17 yards on 6 carries.

The Buccaneers have started the season far better than many expected and this will be another challenge for the Eagles as they attempt to repeat as NFC champions.

Eagles vs. Buccaneers head-to-head

Tampa Bay holds an 11-10 edge in the all-time series but has lost 3 of 5 postseason meetings.

The Bucs recorded a 31-15 victory as 7.5-point favorites while the Under (47.5) cashed in an NFC Wild Card matchup on Jan. 16, 2022, when these teams last met. That victory was former QB Tom Brady’s last postseason win.

Both teams look quite different now and the Eagles are now the team with the talented QB under center. Make sure to check the weather before betting this one as iti will make a stark difference in the game plan for both teams.
