5-star WR Kevin Coleman hints at commitment date

The Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide were among the top schools for five-star St. Mary’s wide receiver recruit Kevin Coleman

The Georgia Bulldogs were among the top schools for five-star wide receiver recruit Kevin Coleman, who is a member of the class of 2022.

Coleman plays high school football for St. Mary’s in Saint Louis, Missouri and is a twitchy wide receiver, standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing in at 170 pounds. He’s ranked as the No. 18 overall prospect in the rising senior class and the No. 2 wide receiver recruit.

In February, Coleman put Texas, FSU, Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Arizona State, Penn State, and USC in his top eight schools.

On Sunday, he hinted at his potential commitment date via his Twitter account:

Coleman is a versatile athlete, who plays wide receiver, quarterback, and defensive back. Coleman is explosive and difficult to tackle in the open field. He shows great quickness and agility. Overall, the five-star prospect is worthy of his elite ranking.

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs could use a few talented class of 2022 wide receivers with the projected departure of George Pickens (he’ll be an NFL Draft eligible junior after the 2021 college football season).

The Dawgs currently have the nation’s most talented class of 2022. De’Nylon Morrissette is Georgia’s only wide receiver commitment at the moment, but the Bulldogs do have commitments from a pair of elite athletes that could end up as wide receivers.

In addition to football, Coleman also runs track, a major reason why top college football programs covet him.
