There really isn’t another way to play this. While they’ve struggled against weak teams, tying Austin FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps, I’d expect them to take of business Wednesday.

With F Raul Ruidiaz leading the way, Seattle should be able to break through a weak Houston defense. The Sounders don’t give up many goals, while the Dynamo have the fourth-most goals allowed in the Western Conference.

I’d be shocked if the Sounders couldn’t break down Houston’s back line, even without Bruin.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET the UNDER 2.5 (+115) as a plus-money bet on the total for MLS typically feels like a good deal. The Sounders have given up just 8 goals through 12 games and have typically dictated the pace of the game.

LAFC (+225) in regular time is what I am rolling with in this late-night match Tuesday. Seattle (+110) did not play well down the stretch, posting just two wins, two losses and three draws in its final seven matches, including a 3-1 loss at LAFC Oct. 12.

LAFC was actually the hotter side in the final days of the season, going 2-1-1 across the final four, while going 5-3-1 over the final nine.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 3.5 (+115) is a strong wager here, especially at plus-money. LAFC is a bunch which can score, seeing a total of 59 goals over the past 16 matches, or 3.69 goals per match. Seattle also saw a total of 49 goals in the final 15 matches, or an average of 3.3 goals per match. Look for plenty of fireworks here.

Colorado sits with an even goal differential through 15 matches, while Seattle is tops in the Western Conference with a plus-20 goal differential, and second in the MLS only to the high-flying Philadelphia Union (plus-23).

Seattle is unbeaten in seven of its past eight matches against Colorado, and playing in the home of the Rapids hasn’t been a problem recently. Seattle is 3-1 across the past four trips to Colorado, outscoring the Rapids by a 6-4 count. Look for the Sounders to head back to the Pacific Northwest with three more points.

For fun, take SEATTLE SOUNDERS (-129) to score the first goal of this match, as it’s a pretty “sound” bet.
