Watch: Ciara, Russell Wilson surprise Seattle nurse with home makeover

Russell Wilson and Ciara helped out a Seattle nurse, who helps out others

Russell Wilson and wife Ciara continue with the good deeds for deserving folks in the Northwest.

The backstory:

Marc Sellier, a seasoned registered nurse has been working on the front lines at Seattle Children’s Hospital for over 17 years. Marc experienced immeasurable loss and tragedy with his house flooding in January, on top of working tirelessly at the hospital through the COVID-19 outbreak, the Wilsons and Amazon Home identified Marc as someone that gives back to the community they all consider home.
A local designer and Ciara & Russell worked to upgrade Marc’s home to outfit it with everything his family needs, including brand new furniture, repaired drywall from the flood’s damage and some flooring. To further give back to the community, Amazon will also be making donations to Seattle Children’s Hospital and Why Not You Foundation, the nonprofit founded and led by Russell Wilson and Ciara.

From Ciara’s Instagram:

It’s a Home Makeover!! Yaaay! I love doing these kinds of surprises! @dangerusswilson and I love Seattle – in many ways, it’s our hometown. We teamed up with @amazonhome to celebrate our Hometown Hero Marc by giving him and his family a personalized home makeover.

Watch: Patriots’ Devin McCourty offers tribute to James White after Pick-Six

Devin McCourty took a pass off the hands of Greg Olsen and found the end zone for a Pick-Six.

It took 81 seconds for the New England Patriots to find the end zone Sunday night against the Seattle Seahawks.

The touchdown was thanks to veteran team leader Devin McCourty, who was in the right place after a Russell Wilson pass bounced out of the hands off Seahawk tight end Greg Olsen. McCourty grabbed it and had nothing but clear space in front of him as he gave New England a 6-0 lead.

The PAT was good and the Patriots were out to a quick 7-0 lead.

McCourty shouted out to teammate James White how much the Patriots love him while in the end zone after the score. White’s father, a police chief in Miami-Dade (Fl) County, died in a car accident. White’s mother was critically injured in the crash.
