Philadelphia 76ers at Sacramento Kings odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Philadelphia 76ers at Sacramento Kings odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Philadelphia 76ers (39-32) wrap up a 4-game road trip against the Sacramento Kings (41-29) Monday. Tip-off at Golden 1 Center is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (NBA TV). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the 76ers vs. Kings odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: 76ers lead 1-0; Philadelphia won 112-93 as a 1-point underdog at home Jan. 12 as the Under (242) cashed

The 76ers picked up a 121-107 win against the LA Clippers Sunday as a 9-point underdog as the Over (216) cashed, and now Philadelphia faces a quick turnaround. While Philly has lost 2 of the past 3 games outright, it is 4-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past 5 games, and the Under is on a 7-1-1 run despite Sunday’s Over result.

Philadelphia has won 10 straight meetings with Sacramento dating back to Feb. 2, 2019, a 115-108 win by the Kings at home. The Sixers have covered 3 in a row, and 7 of the past 8 in the series, too, while the Under is on a 4-1 run.

The Kings just wrapped up a 3-game road trip to the East Coast, winning 2 of 3 games, while also going 2-1 ATS. The Under went 3-0 on the trip, and the total has gone low in 7 of the past 8 for Sacto.

76ers at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 112, 76ers 105

Moneyline

The Kings (-405) will cost you more than 4 times your potential return, and that’s a crazy amount of risk for such a small return.

While the 76ers (+320) might be tempting for the chance to triple up, especially since they’ve won 10 in a row in the series, Sacramento is the much better team this season, and Philadelphia pulls it at the end of a tough road trip.

PASS, and look to the spread instead.

Against the spread

The 76ERS +9.5 (-110) is a decent play catching nearly double digits. As mentioned above, Philly has dominated the series, last losing more than 5 calendar years ago in Sacramento.

The Kings -9.5 (-110) are coming home after a long road trip to the other coast, and Sacramento is just 2-3 ATS in the past 5 games and 6-8 ATS in the past 14 outings. At Golden 1 Center, Sacramento is just 2-7 ATS in the past 9 home games, too.

Over/Under

UNDER 222 (-110) is a strong play in the capital city of the Golden State.

Both of these teams have been going low rather frequently. Sacramento has cashed the Under in 3 in a row, and 7 of the past 8 games, and the total has gone low in 4 of the past 5 head-to-head meetings with Philly, too.

For the 76ers, while they cashed high against the Clips Sunday, the Under is still 7-1-1 in the past 9 outings. The Under is 4-1 in the past 5 tries playing on no rest, too.

The Sacramento Kings (40-29) visit the Orlando Magic (42-28) Saturday evening. Tip from Kia Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Kings vs. Magic odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Kings lead 1-0

Sacramento snapped a 2-game winning streak with a 109-102 loss against the Washington Wizards Thursday while failing to cover as an 11-point favorite. In total, 5 Kings players scored in double figures with the team shooting 43% from the field in the loss.

Kings at Magic picks and predictions

Prediction

Magic 109, Kings 105

Moneyline

PASS.

There are better odds on the Magic (-145) spread.

Against the spread

BET MAGIC -2.5 (-110).

Orlando is 8-2 straight up and ATS in its last 10 games while winning and covering in each of its last 5. It is 9-0 ATS in its last 9 games as a favorite and faces a Sacramento team that has failed to cover in 3 of its last 4.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 217.5 (-110).

While these teams are capable of scoring in droves, they are just 3-7 to the Over in their last 10 games. They’ve also been playing exceptional defense, with the Kings allowing 109 or fewer points in 5 of their last 6 games and the Magic allowing 106 or fewer in 8 of their last 10.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Sacramento Kings (40-28) visit the Washington Wizards (11-58) on Thursday with tip-off from Capital One Arena scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Kings vs. Wizards odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Kings lead 1-0 after 143-131 win at home on Dec. 18

The Kings have won back-to-back games after dominating the Toronto Raptors 123-89 on Wednesday and easily covering as 11-point road favorites. G De’Aaron Fox scored a game-high 20 points while F Domantas Sabonis  had a triple-double (13 points, 17 rebounds, 10 assists). Sacramento shot 51.6% from the field in the win.

Washington has lost 5 games in a row after falling 137-114 against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday and failing to cover as a 10.5-point home underdog. F Corey Kispert, F Justin Champagnie, and G Jules Bernard each scored 16 points as 8 Washington players scored in double figures. The Wizards shot 42.9% from the field in the loss.

Kings at Wizards picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 127, Wizards 114

Moneyline

PASS.

There is no value on the Kings (-700), who are 7-3 in their last 10 games, to beat the Wizards (+500), who are 2-8 in their last 10 and 4-28 at home this season.

Against the spread

BET KINGS -11.5 (-110).

Sacramento has covered the spread in 3 of its last 5 and is 3-0 against the spread (ATS) in each of its last 3 road games. Washington is just 2-8 ATS in its last 10 including 1-3 ATS in its last 4 home games and 0-4 ATS in its last 4 games as a 9-point or more underdog.

Over/Under

BET OVER 236.5 (-110).

The Kings have scored at least 120 points in 4 of their last 5 games and 7 of their last 10 overall. They have a Wizards team that has struggled defensively, giving up 127 or more in each of their last 4 games. The Wizards have hit the Over in 7 of their last 10 games largely on account of their poor defense which will be a factor on Thursday.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Sacramento Kings (39-28) kick off a 3-game road trip Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors (23-45). Tip-off at Scotiabank Arena is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Kings vs. Raptors odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Kings leads 1-0 after 135-130 home win on Jan. 5 as a 4.5-point favorite as the Over (237.5) cashed

The Kings picked up a 121-111 OT win against the Memphis Grizzlies last time out on Monday, but they failed to cover as an 11.5-point favorite. Sacramento is 2-4 against the spread (ATS) in the past 6 outings, while the Under is 4-1 across the previous 5 contests.

The Raptors have dropped 7 in a row, while failing to cover 3 in a row. Toronto is also just 2-8 ATS in the past 10 outings, while the Under has connected in each of the past 3 contests.

Toronto is 2-5 ATS in the past 7 games against Western Conference teams, while the Over is 4-2 in the past 6 against the West. For Sacramento, it is 1-5 ATS in the past 6 tries against Eastern Conference foes, while the Under has cashed in the past 3 tries against teams from the East.

Kings at Raptors picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 121, Raptors 106

Moneyline

The Kings (-460) are way too costly straight up, costing you more than 4 1/2 times your potential return. Sacramento has won 3 of the past 4 games, and 5 of the past 7 contests, while the Raptors (+360) have dropped 7 in a row dating back to the team’s last win on March 3.

PASS.

Against the spread

The KINGS -10 (-108) are laying a big number on the road, but they’re worth playing. The Raptors +10 (-112) have been horrific lately, losing 7 in a row, with 3 of the losses coming by 9 or more points, including a 113-104 loss March 13 against the lowly Detroit Pistons.

Toronto has not only struggled to rack up wins, but it is just 2-8 ATS in the previous 10 outings. Sacramento has cashed in 3 of the past 4 games on the road.

Over/Under

UNDER 231.5 (-110) is a big number, and while we saw these teams combine for 265 points in the 1st meeting, go low in the rematch.

The Under is 4-1 in the past 5 games for the Kings, even though were able to hit the Over last time out against Memphis.

For the Raptors, the Under has cashed in 3 in a row, including just 96 points last time out in Orlando. Toronto is averaging a mere 101.0 PPG in the past 3 outings.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Memphis Grizzlies (23-45) kick off a 4-game road trip Monday against the Sacramento Kings (38-28). Tip-off from Golden 1 Center is at 10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Grizzlies vs. Kings odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Kings lead 2-0

The Grizzlies have lost 2 games in a row and 4 of their last 5. They are coming off a 118-112 home loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder Saturday but covered the 10.5-point spread as underdogs. They are 13th in the conference and trail the No. 10 seed for a play-in berth by 13 games.

The Kings have won 4 of their last 6 but had a 2-game winning streak snapped in their last outing, a 98-91 home loss to the New York Knicks Saturday as 3-point favorites. They are 6th in the West, holding on to the final guaranteed playoff spot by percentage points over the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns.

Grizzlies at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 109, Grizzlies 102

Moneyline

The Grizzlies have been better on the road (15-18) than at home (8-27) this season and won 3 of their last 7 games, but they are 5-18 in their last 23.

Meanwhile, the Kings (-600) have won 4 of their last 6 games and are 8-5 in their last 13.

The Kings won both meetings in Memphis earlier this season, 123-92 Dec. 31 and 103-94 Jan. 29.

There is no reason to believe a banged-up Grizzlies squad will beat a healthy Kings team in the middle of the playoff race.

But backing the Kings at -600 doesn’t make for a good bet.

PASS.

Against the spread

Each team covered the spread in 1 of the 2 meetings this season in Memphis.

The Grizzlies are 33-35 ATS overall this season and 19-14 ATS on the road. Of their last 8 losses, 4 have been by more than 10 points.

Only 3 of the Kings’ last 8 wins have been by more than 10. They are 13-19 ATS at home.

Expect the Grizzlies to keep this within 10 points.

BET GRIZZLIES +10.5 (-105).

Over/Under

Neither of the previous 2 meetings this season reached the projected total for this matchup.

Four of the Kings’ last 6 games have had totals higher than 221 points.

But the Grizzlies have only had 1 of their last 5 games go higher than 221 points. They have averaged 100.8 points per game over their last 5 contests.

BET UNDER 221.5 (-115).

The New York Knicks (39-27) and Sacramento Kings (38-27) meet Saturday. Tip-off from Golden 1 Center is set for 10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Knicks vs. Kings odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: First meeting; split last season 1-1

The Knicks pushed as 12-point favorites with a 105-93 win at the Portland Trail Blazers Thursday as the Under (203) hit. G Jalen Brunson had 45 points for the Knicks, who are on a 10-1 run to the Under since the All-Star break.

The Kings are coming off a cover as 2-point underdogs in a 120-107 win against the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday with the Under (237.5) cashing in Sacramento. C Domantas Sabonis had a triple-double with 17 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists, and the Kings swept the season series against the Lakers in 4 games.

The home favorite won and covered in each meeting between these teams last season, and the Under went 2-0.

Knicks at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Knicks 109, Kings 108

Moneyline

The KNICKS (+140) are being undervalued by the market after back-to-back double-digit wins and allowing an NBA-best 83.7 points over the last 3 games.

The Kings are coming off a dominant win over 1 of the several California teams that are more popular than them, and that may make them a little fat and happy in the short term. Winning back-to-back games against the Milwaukee Bucks and Lakers is impressive, but it could also be a sign of Sacramento coming out flat emotionally in this spot.

BET KNICKS (+140).

Against the spread

The Knicks should cover behind their dominant defense, but I prefer the plus-money odds on their ML.

PASS. Bet Knicks ML and/or the total instead.

Over/Under

There’s not much to say here. Knicks Unders have been cashing at a 10-1 clip since the break, and Sacramento — the NBA’s 8th-ranked team in offensive efficiency — isn’t some juggernaut that will expose New York’s defense.

BET UNDER 218 (-112).

Milwaukee Bucks at Sacramento Kings odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Milwaukee Bucks at Sacramento Kings odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Milwaukee Bucks (42-23) and Sacramento Kings (36-27) meet Tuesday. Tip-off from Golden 1 Center is set for 10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Bucks vs. Kings odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Bucks lead 1-0

The Bucks snapped a 2-game skid with a cover as 6.5-point favorites in a 124-117 win against the LA Clippers Sunday with the Over (221) cashing at Crypto.com Arena. G Damian Lillard exploded for 16 points in the 4th quarter — 35 on the night — and F Giannis Antetokounmpo added 34 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds.

The Kings failed to cover for a 2nd straight game with a 112-104 loss against the Houston Rockets in Sacramento Sunday as the Under (234) cashed. The Kings are 5-10 against the spread (ATS) in their last 15 games after their non-cover as 6.5-point favorites Sunday.

In a Jan. 14 meeting, the Kings covered as 4-point underdogs in a 143-142 Bucks OT win with the Over (247) hitting in Milwaukee. Lillard hit the game-winning buzzer-beating 3, and the Bucks came back from a 4-point deficit in the final 12 seconds of overtime.

Bucks at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 125, Bucks 115

Moneyline

The Kings were unlucky to lose in the Jan. 14 meeting — I’m sure they haven’t forgotten — after leading by 4 points with 12 seconds remaining in overtime. The last time the Kings failed to cover in 3 consecutive games was from Nov. 4-8; it’s rare that they string together 3 straight bad performances.

The Bucks can breathe a sigh of relief after snapping their 2-game skid, but those losses to the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers showed that maybe Milwaukee isn’t as good as we thought after hiring coach Doc Rivers. The Bucks beating the shorthanded Clippers by 7 — and barely covering as 6.5-point favorites — does not impress me.

BET KINGS (-105).

Against the spread

The Kings should cover, but I wouldn’t recommend paying 20 cents for the extra point-and-a-half

PASS. Bet the ML and/or total instead.

Over/Under

According to Teamrankings.com, the Over has hit in the last 22 meetings between these teams. That’s not a trend that I’m looking to fade.

BET OVER 235.5 (-105).

Houston Rockets at Sacramento Kings odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Houston Rockets at Sacramento Kings odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Houston Rockets (28-35) and Sacramento Kings (36-26) meet Sunday. Tip-off from Golden 1 Center is set for 6 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Rockets vs. Kings odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Rockets lead 2-0

The Rockets were in trouble early at the Portland Trail Blazers, but Houston managed to outscore Portland 68-44 in the 2nd half to come away with the 123-107 win and the cover as a 6.5-point favorite Friday. It was Houston’s 5th straight cover, and the Over (220) hit for a 2nd consecutive Rockets game after a 5-0-1 run to the Under from Feb. 23-March 5.

The Kings, who were 12-point favorites, barely got by the San Antonio Spurs with a 131-129 home win Thursday as the Over (235.5) cashed. C Domantas Sabonis, who had 31 points, scored the go-ahead dunk with 7.7 seconds left, and the Kings won for a 3rd time in 4 games.

Houston is 2-0 ATS vs. Sacramento this season, and the Over/Under (O/U) has gone 1-1. The Rockets won 122-97 in the most recent meeting Nov. 6 with the Over (217.5) cashing at Toyota Center.

Rockets at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 125, Rockets 115

Moneyline

It’s unlikely that the Kings (-275) will lose to Houston for a 3rd straight time this season. However, I can’t recommend risking $275 to win $100.

PASS. Lay the points and/or bet the total instead.

Against the spread

I have no interest in betting Houston in this spot. It trailed by as many as 12 at Portland and should struggle to play a close game against the Kings with double-revenge on their minds.

The Kings are 3-1 straight up in their last 4, and while winning by 2 points when favored by 12 isn’t an impressive performance, they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games after failing to cover the previous time out. In other words, they bounce back the next game after failing to meet expectations.

BET KINGS -6.5 (-110).

Over/Under

The Over has hit in back-to-back games for both teams, and while that is a small sample size, I just can’t picture either side playing great defense Sunday.

Sacramento has allowed 120 or more in 10 of its last 16 games, and Houston gave up 63 first-half points to the lowly Trail Blazers last time out.

BET OVER 233.5 (-110).

San Antonio Spurs at Sacramento Kings odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s San Antonio Spurs at Sacramento Kings odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Sacramento Kings (35-26) welcome the San Antonio Spurs (13-49) to the Golden 1 Center Thursday. Tip is set for 10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Spurs vs. Kings odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Kings lead 2-0

These teams have each covered once in 2 meetings this season, and the Over has gone 2-0. The Spurs covered as 10.5-point underdogs in the most recent meeting Feb. 22, a 127-122 Kings win in Sacramento.

The Kings beat the Los Angeles Lakers on the road 130-120 Wednesday, covering as 3-point underdogs. They have won 2 of their last 3 yet have lost 3 of their last 5. Sacramento is 31-29-1 against the spread (ATS) on the season and 4-6 ATS over its last 10. It is led by G De’Aaron Fox, who is averaging 27.1 points per game (PPG).

The Spurs lost to the Houston Rockets 114-101 Tuesday, failing to cover as 7-point road underdogs. San Antonio has won 2 of its last 3 yet has lost 6 of its last 8. The Spurs are 30-32 ATS on the season and 5-2 ATS over their last 7. They are led by rookie F Victor Wembanyama, who is averaging 20.7 PPG and will be out Thursday with an ankle injury.

Spurs at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 122, Spurs 107

Moneyline

PASS.

The Spurs without their best player against 1 of the best teams in the Western Conference doesn’t sound like a great combination for the road side. Neither team is worth a play on the moneyline here.

Against the spread

LEAN KINGS -11 (-110).

Wembanyama brings an unparalleled size to the court, and he went for 19 points, 13 rebounds, 5 blocks and 5 steals the last time these teams played. His absence will sting and open up the court for Fox to operate. The Spurs are just 4-6 ATS in their last 10 road games.

The Kings haven’t covered well as double-digit underdogs, but the absence of Wemby will unlock the potential for C Domantas Sabonis to get easy buckets in the paint. Expect the home side to take this one with ease and back KINGS -11 (-110).

Over/Under

BET UNDER 237 (-112).

The Under is a strong play for both sides. The Kings have scored 110 or fewer in 2 of their last 4 games and have traded off going Over and Under in 9 straight games, most recently going Over in their win against the Lakers Wednesday.

They are also on the 2nd night of a back-to-back and may not push the tempo if they’re leading by a sizable margin. The Spurs have gone Under in 4 of their last 5 games and are 3-14-1 O/U in their last 18 games. Back UNDER 237 (-112).

Sacramento Kings at Los Angeles Lakers odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Sacramento Kings at Los Angeles Lakers odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Sacramento Kings (34-26) take on the Los Angeles Lakers (34-29) Wednesday with tip-off from Crypto.com Arena set for 10:30 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Kings vs. Lakers odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Kings lead 2-0

The Kings have lost 3 of 4 after a 113-109 setback against the Chicago Bulls at home Monday. F Domantas Sabonis had 18 points and 21 boards but shot just 7-for-19 from the field against a big frontline of Chicago, which was 6.5-point underdog. The Kings have won both games against the Lakers this season and have won 6 of the last 7 in the series.

The Lakers have won 3 of 4 after a 116-104 home win over the Oklahoma City Thunder Monday. F Anthony Davis had 24 points, 12 boards, 4 assists and 3 blocks as the Lakers covered the spread as 1-point underdogs. The Kings were one of the Lakers’ 10 losses on their home floor earlier this season as L.A. is 21-10.

Kings at Lakers and predictions

Prediction

Lakers 119, Kings 115

Moneyline

The Kings have won 3 straight at Crypto.com Arena, but they are struggling. AD had just 9 points in 34-plus minutes in the last contest, a Sacramento 125-110 win as a 1.5-point underdog. Davis and the Lakers will remember that and look to make a statement.

Despite the Kings’ recent success in this building, I’m not willing to pay the -140 ML of the Lakers to fade Sacramento.

Instead, take ANTHONY DAVIS OVER 2.5 BLOCKS (-135). He has 3+ blocks in 3 straight and had 3+ in each of the 2 games vs. the Kings this season.

Against the spread

We’re picking the Lakers here, and I’d rather lay the 2½ points than pay the -140 ML. Of the Lakers’ 7 wins over their last 10 games, all have been by 3 or more points. The same can be said of Sacramento’s 5 losses in the last 10 games, and they’re just 4-6 in that stretch.

TAKE LAKERS -2.5 (-105).

Over/Under

The Kings are 6-4 O/U over the last 10, and the Lakers are 4-5-1. This has been an Over matchup at 7-3 during the last 10 meetings.

I don’t think we meet this number Wednesday, though. The Under has cashed in 2 of the last 3 head-to-head meetings. This line has touched 239 a couple of times, so if you want to wait this out and take that Under, do so. Otherwise, LEAN UNDER 239.5 (-110).
