The Philadelphia 76ers (39-32) wrap up a 4-game road trip against the Sacramento Kings (41-29) Monday. Tip-off at Golden 1 Center is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (NBA TV). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the 76ers vs. Kings odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: 76ers lead 1-0; Philadelphia won 112-93 as a 1-point underdog at home Jan. 12 as the Under (242) cashed

The 76ers picked up a 121-107 win against the LA Clippers Sunday as a 9-point underdog as the Over (216) cashed, and now Philadelphia faces a quick turnaround. While Philly has lost 2 of the past 3 games outright, it is 4-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past 5 games, and the Under is on a 7-1-1 run despite Sunday’s Over result.

Philadelphia has won 10 straight meetings with Sacramento dating back to Feb. 2, 2019, a 115-108 win by the Kings at home. The Sixers have covered 3 in a row, and 7 of the past 8 in the series, too, while the Under is on a 4-1 run.

The Kings just wrapped up a 3-game road trip to the East Coast, winning 2 of 3 games, while also going 2-1 ATS. The Under went 3-0 on the trip, and the total has gone low in 7 of the past 8 for Sacto.

76ers at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 112, 76ers 105

Moneyline

The Kings (-405) will cost you more than 4 times your potential return, and that’s a crazy amount of risk for such a small return.

While the 76ers (+320) might be tempting for the chance to triple up, especially since they’ve won 10 in a row in the series, Sacramento is the much better team this season, and Philadelphia pulls it at the end of a tough road trip.

PASS, and look to the spread instead.

Against the spread

The 76ERS +9.5 (-110) is a decent play catching nearly double digits. As mentioned above, Philly has dominated the series, last losing more than 5 calendar years ago in Sacramento.

The Kings -9.5 (-110) are coming home after a long road trip to the other coast, and Sacramento is just 2-3 ATS in the past 5 games and 6-8 ATS in the past 14 outings. At Golden 1 Center, Sacramento is just 2-7 ATS in the past 9 home games, too.

Over/Under

UNDER 222 (-110) is a strong play in the capital city of the Golden State.

Both of these teams have been going low rather frequently. Sacramento has cashed the Under in 3 in a row, and 7 of the past 8 games, and the total has gone low in 4 of the past 5 head-to-head meetings with Philly, too.

For the 76ers, while they cashed high against the Clips Sunday, the Under is still 7-1-1 in the past 9 outings. The Under is 4-1 in the past 5 tries playing on no rest, too.

Philadelphia 76ers at Sacramento Kings odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Philadelphia 76ers at Sacramento Kings odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Philadelphia 76ers (29-16) wrap up a 5-game road trip against the Sacramento Kings (26-18) Saturday. Tip-off from Golden 1 Center is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the 76ers vs. Kings odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The 76ers have handled their business on this West Coast road trip, going 4-for-4 straight up, while covering the past 2 outings. That includes a convincing 105-95 win in Portland Thursday night as the Under cashed.

The Kings enter on a 6-game winning streak, while going 5-0-1 ATS during the span. They pushed last time out in a 118-113 win over Oklahoma City Friday night. While the Kings are hot against the number, including 3-0-1 ATS in the past 4 at home, Sacto is just 0-5-1 ATS in the previous 6 tries against winning teams.

76ers at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

76ers 122, Kings 119

Moneyline

The 76ERS (-125) look to cap off this 5-game road trip perfect, as far as its straight-up record. However, there is a little bit of risk here. Their moneyline dropped from -155 this morning, which leads us to believe there’s a bleak outlook for Harden. If “The Beard” sits, I’d go the other way and play Sacramento (+105) straight up.

Against the spread

Because the spread has decreased from 3.5 to a bucket, there’s more value in playing the moneyline.

PASS.

Over/Under

OVER 234.5 (-112) might be the best play on the board.

The Over is 12-3 in the past 15 games overall for Philadelphia, while going 8-3 in the past 11 games on the road. The Over is also 9-2 in the past 11 following a straight-up win, and 7-1 in the past 8 after a cover.

The Over is 15-5-1 in the past 21 for the Kings at the Golden 1 Center, while hitting at a 5-2 clip in the past 7 games overall.

Philadelphia 76ers at Brooklyn Nets odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Thursday’s Philadelphia 76ers at Brooklyn Nets NBA betting odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The Philadelphia 76ers (7-1) stop by Barclays Center for a 7:30 p.m. ET tip-off against the Brooklyn Nets (4-4) Thursday. Below, we analyze the 76ers-Nets NBA betting odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

Philadelphia survived a donnybrook at home vs. the Washington Wizards last night beating Washington 141-136 but couldn’t cover the 6.5-point spread. The 76ers countered a 60-point game by Wizards SG Bradley Beal with 61.7% field-goal shooting and 62.1% from 3-point land as a team.

Brooklyn was getting 4.5 points at home, partially due to the absence of SF Kevin Durant, and it beat the brakes off of the Utah Jazz 130-96 Tuesday. Kyrie Irving came out and lit up the Jazz in the first quarter, scoring 18 points on 100% shooting with 3 rebounds and 3 assists. the Nets beat the Jazz 35-14 in the opening 12 minutes.

What should be a litmus test game for both teams has been lessened a tad only because KD is sidelined due to health and safety protocols stemming from his close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. In 2019-20, the 76ers beat the Nets 3-1 (3-1 against the spread) in the season series.

76ers at Nets: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

76ers 113, Nets 107

Money line (ML)

It’s a sucker play but I am going to roll with the 76ERS (-130) for 1.5 units. I say that because according to Pregame.com, more than 70% of the money is on the Nets (the sharp side) while a slight majority of the tickets/bets placed are on the 76ers (the average Joe).

We’re due for a bounce-back game by a Philadelphia team that has the best defensive rating in the NBA. The 76ers are 2-6 O/U and the six in the Under column is mostly due to their defense. Philadelphia’s perimeter defense has all the personnel it needs to be the best in the league with new hire SG Danny Green and star PG Ben Simmons.

Sometimes you have to be OK with losing money. What I mean by that is if Brooklyn can trot out SG Bruce Brown and SF Jeff Green in its starting lineup and beat a 7-1 Philadelphia then I’m alright taking an L on this one.

GIMME 76ERS (-130) for 2 units.

Against the spread (ATS)

PASS ON THE SPREAD because I’d rather spend the extra 15 cents on the dollar to not have to worry about the 76ers covering any number.

Over/Under (O/U)

PASS ON THE TOTAL with a lean on the UNDER 226.5 (-110). It appears as though both sides of the market are hammering the Over and I don’t feel like fading them considering the offensive firepower on both sides.

My read is we see a good Philadelphia performance, however, the Over has cashed in three straight 76ers-Nets meetings and I much prefer to play sides than totals.
