Michigan State football depth chart analysis: Quarterbacks

Breaking down the projected depth chart for MSU, starting with QB

The winter portal window has concluded, and the Spartans have added 16 new transfers to the roster to go along with a freshman class of 16. While there is still the late signing day and a spring portal window, Spartan fans will have a good idea of what the depth chart will look like.

In this series, we will be breaking down the projected depth chart for the Spartans position by position. The first position up is the quarterbacks.

Quarterback is the position group that comes into the 2025 season with the least amount of question marks, but is certainly a position that needs to see an uptick in production in 2025.

Here is how we see it shaking out:

  1. Aidan Chiles, Jr.
  2. Alessio Milivojevic, Rs Fr
  3. Ryland Jessee, Rs Fr
  4. Leo Hannan, Fr

Chiles will once again lead the way, but the Spartans have a ton of young talent behind him to develop.
