Winter workouts and conditioning has begun for Michigan State football, who will look to make a splash in new head coach Jonathan Smith’s first season. Part of that success will come from the freshman class, and some key pieces entering the fold.

The Spartans have nine players that early enrolled this January and are now participating with the team as the winter progresses.

Michigan State football gains commitment from 2024 RB Brandon Tullis

MSU lands 3-star Texas RB Brandon Tullis

Michigan State head coach Jonathan Smith has gained another commitment, the tenth of the Spartans 2024 recruiting class.

Frisco (TX) native Brandon Tullis has made the decision to commit to Michigan State. Tullis is a former Oregon State commit and is coming over with the new staff.

Tullis ranks as a middle 3-star based on every recruiting outlet. He held additional offers from Boston College, Cal and Kansas.

Tullis joins Justin Denson, Makhi Frazier, Wyatt Hook, Charlton Luniewski, Mercer Luniewski, Nick Marsh, Jaylen Thompson, Jadyn Walker and Keshawn Williams as members of the Spartans 2024 recruiting class.

Michigan State football is working hard to flip an Oregon State commit.

Three-star running back Brandon Tullis of Frisco, Texas will reportedly take an official visit to Michigan State this upcoming weekend. 247Sports reported the Tullis-related recruiting news on Sunday.

Tullis ranks as the No. 109 running back in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2024 class.

Tullis has been committed to Oregon State since July. He picked up an offer from Michigan State following Jonathan Smith’s hire as the new Spartans head coach. He also holds notable offers from Kansas, Cal, Boston College and Tulane.

Michigan State football hosting Oregon State RB commit on official visit

MSU will be hosting an Oregon State running back commit on a official visit next weekend:

Michigan State is going to be hosting Oregon State running back Brandon Tullis on an official visit this upcoming weekend, Dec. 8.

Tullis is a 2024 recruiting class prospect and a Frisco (TX) native, attending Memorial High School. He is a 3-star prospect with additional power conference offers from Boston College, Cal and Kansas.

Tullis joins former Spartan commit Anthony Carrie as running backs who have official visits scheduled to Michigan State.
