Eli Manning had the perfect roast of Tom Brady and he wasn’t even at the Netflix special

BOOM ROASTED

We’ve seen some absolutely wild and NSFW jokes told at Tom Brady’s expense during his Netflix special on Sunday night, but Eli Manning wasn’t even there.

Yet the former New York Giants quarterback got the best roast in thanks to a post on X (formerly Twitter), and I bet you can guess where he focused his message.

“I thought about attending the Roast of Tom Brady last night,” Manning wrote on Monday, “but I did not want to Roast him for a 3rd time!!”

BOOM ROASTED! Obviously, that’s a reference to Manning beating Brady and the New England Patriots in two Super Bowls. Well done.

Kim Kardashian probably didn’t deserve to get booed at the Tom Brady roast but fans did it anyway

C’mon, really? This was unnecessary.

Let’s just come out and say it: Kim Kardashian didn’t deserve all the boos at the Tom Brady roast that aired live on Netflix Sunday night.

The jokes at her expense? That’s part of roasting at one of these events — you dish out the (sometimes very tasteless) jokes and then you get the occasional (sometimes very tasteless) joke sent back your way.

So let’s focus on the moment that had everyone buzzing: Kardashian stepped up to the mic and the boos rained down. Why? Because she’s a Kardashian? It could be because she’s a bit of a square peg among the group of comedians and football stars, and sometimes that person gets razzed by the crowd at a roast. But I’m hoping it’s that and not for other reasons.

Here’s that moment and a couple of the jokes we could print:

Tom Brady (jokingly?) confessed to Deflategate in his Netflix roast

Well played, Tom Brady.

As is the tradition at a roast, the roastee becomes the roaster at the end of the long night of getting zinged, insulted and everything in between.

That was the case with Tom Brady at his Netflix roast, which included so many jokes at the GOAT’s expense, as well as Bill Belichick being a surprising star, and one very awkward moment.

But at the end, Brady got to take to the podium, and he delivered some very good jokes, including one about the very ridiculous Deflategate scandal he was at the center of.

“Remember Deflategate?” he asked. “The NFL spent $20 million and found that it was more probable than not that I was generally aware that someone may have deflated my footballs. You could have just given me the $20 million and I would just told you I [expletive] did it!”

LOL!

Tom Brady takes a dig at the Chiefs and Taylor Swift during his Netflix roast

No one was safe on Sunday night.

Netflix hosted a roast of former New England and Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady on Sunday evening, and no one was safe from ridicule. The 7-time Super Bowl champion was ribbed by everyone from Bill Belichick to Rob Gronkowski to Kim Kardashian to Nikki Glaser.

But after the roasting left Brady good and toasted, the future Hall-of-Famer had a chance at a little revenge. At one point, Brady turned his jokes towards the new NFL dynasty — the Chiefs — and 14-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift.

“Kansas City, you say your stadium is the loudest?” Brady asked. “It helps when all your fans are 14-year-old girls.” He then went on to break down the “Chiefs’ eras,” saying the team was “terrible for 50 years, good for five” before adding “shake it off.”

Was Tom Brady actually mad about the Robert Kraft massage joke at his Netflix roast?

Was Tom Brady really mad at this?

The Tom Brady roast on Netflix was, as most roasts are, extremely wild and NSFW, with jokes of all kinds being flung at the GOAT QB, his former coach Bill Belichick, Rob Gronkowski and beyond (we rounded up the best moments!).

But there was one joke that Brady might have actually taken offense to, and it wasn’t one about him.

Comedian Jeff Ross, known as the king of the modern roasts, got up and said that Brady famously told Patriots owner Robert Kraft that drafting him was the best decision the Pats ever made.

Then, Ross added, “Would you like a massage?” a clear reference to Kraft being charged with misdemeanor prostitution solicitation in 2019 and with the charges eventually being dropped.

Brady walked over to Ross and could be heard saying, “Don’t say that [expletive] again.”

Now: was he actually mad and warned Ross about that? Or was that part of the act? He could be very protective of the owner who wasn’t at the center of the roast.

Here it is [WARNING: NSFW LANGUAGE AHEAD]:

Bill Belichick benched Drew Bledsoe for Tom Brady again during hilarious The Roast of Tom Brady bit

Drew Bledsoe once again took a backseat to Tom Brady.

Drew Bledsoe has once again taken a backseat to Tom Brady at the hands of Bill Belichick.

On Sunday, The Roast of Tom Brady premiered live on Netflix to the delight of many across the football world. It was a night that had Brady clearly uncomfortable as he was roasted for nearly everything across his football career.

However, the event started with a bit of a blast from the past. In one of the most hilarious bits of the night, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick benched Drew Bledsoe from the event, tapping in Brady once again as the star of the show.

Of course, we all remember how Brady’s career started with the Patriots; how he took over New England in the wake of Bledsoe’s injury before the team ultimately traded him to the Buffalo Bills.

Bledsoe, at the very least, got the last laugh on Brady during the roast with some incredible zingers.
