Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, tough times have fallen across the country, including the state of Texas. For those people, Longhorns head coach Tom Herman and his family tweeted out a message, reaching out to Texans across the entire state. They are encouraging people to help out in any way they possibly can.

Herman says him and his family will be donating to Central Texas Food Bank, the Front Steps homeless shelter, Meals on Wheels, the SAFE Alliance shelter, and the Boys & Girl Clubs to help out Texans across the state.

The head coach asks other will join them in supporting the Austin community as they “can make a Texas-sized difference” to other people in need during this difficult time.
