Here’s which uniforms the Rams and Cardinals are wearing in Week 6

See which uniforms the Rams and Cardinals will wear on Sunday afternoon in their first meeting of the season

The Arizona Cardinals gave their uniforms a much-needed refresh this past offseason, unveiling completely new jerseys and pants, with a slightly altered helmet, as well. It’s a very simple, monochromatic look with a white set, red set and all-black combination, changing things up from their stale look from before.

On Sunday afternoon, the Rams will get their first look at those uniforms on the field when they host the Cardinals at SoFi Stadium. Los Angeles will wear its royal blue jerseys and yellow pants, while the Cardinals are going with an all-white combination.

The Rams have worn royal blue twice this year, losing both of those games to the Bengals and Eagles. The Cardinals’ only win of the season came while wearing all-red uniforms in Week 3 against Dallas.

Rams 2023 uniform schedule: See which jersey LA will wear in each game

The Rams released their uniform schedule for 2023, which features eight games in white, seven in royal and two in Bone

Just in time for the start of the season, the Los Angeles Rams revealed their 2023 uniform schedule Wednesday. While they didn’t say which pants they’ll pair with each jersey, the Rams did share their jersey choice for each game this season.

They’ll wear their white “Modern Throwbacks” eight times, their royal blue jerseys seven times and their “Bone” jerseys twice. The white jerseys have essentially become the team’s primary away jerseys and will likely be paired with yellow pants more often than not, while the royal blues are their primary home jerseys.

Though the Bone uniforms were revealed as one of their two primary jerseys in 2020, they’ve become more of an alternate set for Los Angeles, as they’ll be worn just twice this season. Below is the full uniform schedule sorted by jersey color and date.

COO Kevin Demoff shares disappointing news on Rams’ plans for new uniforms

Rams’ COO Kevin Demoff shared an update on the team’s uniform plans for the coming years and it’s sure to disappoint fans

Los Angeles Rams fans have been anxiously waiting for the team to release new uniform sets, but they’ll have to wait a bit longer. On the most recent “11 Personnel” podcast from Rich Hammond and Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic, COO Kevin Demoff went on to update fans about the team’s future uniform plans.

“We’re not going to introduce a new jersey this season. We looked at a lot of different concepts over the past year and none of them felt like the right jersey to introduce,” Demoff said. “At this time, at this moment, whether it was looking at true alternates or throwbacks from different concepts historically, there was nothing that seemed like a great fit. We’ve always made it clear that we have the ability to add new uniforms. We also said we’re not going to add a uniform for the sake of adding a uniform.”

The Rams made the change last season to deploy their white “modern throwback” jerseys as their primary road uniforms. Demoff proceeded to say that the organization feels comfortable with their current uniform sets that are available, and a change isn’t necessarily coming in 2024 either.

“I think that’s really where the group landed this year and I think we feel very comfortable with the uniforms we have in the closet right now. Especially with last year’s change of making the white uniform our primary away uniform. I don’t think next year we’re necessarily on a different track. I think we’ll continue to explore. A different idea would have to pop up next year than what we’ve already explored. I think the earliest we’re probably looking at is 2025.”

Since the Rams moved back to Los Angeles in 2016, they’ve worn a handful of different uniform combinations. The franchise has made it clear that they intend to continue updating the uniforms to fit the team, but fans who were hoping for a new set of jerseys soon could be disappointed with Demoff’s recent update.

Here are the Rams’ records in each uniform combination since 2020

The Rams have worn 9 different uniform combinations since their rebrand in 2020. Here’s their record in each set.

The Los Angeles Rams underwent a controversial rebrand in 2020, revealing two new jerseys, a new helmet and a redesigned logo. Then last year, they introduced a sharp third jersey that they called a “Modern Throwback,” paying homage to past teams with a white-and-yellow combination.

The Rams have enjoyed a ton of success with this new look, even winning a Super Bowl while wearing their white throwbacks. But their record in each uniform combination varies, ranging from 0-3 in one set to 5-0 in another.

One sharp user on Twitter compiled a list of the Rams’ record in each uniform set now that they’ve played 50 games in their new garb and they’re above .500 in all but three combinations.

They’re a perfect 5-0 when wearing Bone jerseys and pants with blue socks, and 15-4 overall when wearing their Bone jerseys.

Surprisingly, they’ve had very little success when wearing their white jerseys, going just 2-7 in that jersey. Fortunately, the Rams have abandoned the all-blue look from 2020, going 0-3 in that combination.

Rams reveal uniform combination for Thursday night vs. Bills

The Rams revealed which uniform combination they’ll wear against the Bills on Thursday night and fans should be thrilled

The Los Angeles Rams will ring in the new season dressed the same way they closed out the 2021 campaign in Super Bowl LVI. The team announced on Wednesday night that it will wear its white “modern throwback” jerseys with yellow pants against the Bills in the season opener on Thursday night.

It’s arguably the best combination the Rams have in their wardrobe, one fans were thrilled to see the team wearing in the Super Bowl in February. It’s a clean look that will look great against the Bills’ all-blue uniform set.

The Rams will wear their Bone jerseys in Weeks 2 and 3 before finally wearing their royal blue tops in Week 6 for the first time. This year, their white throwbacks became their primary away jerseys after only being worn a couple of times last year as an alternate uniform.

Rams won’t release new uniform in 2022 but plan to wear ‘modern throwbacks’ more

The Rams will not release an alternate uniform this year as previously planned, but they are targeting 2023.

When the Los Angeles Rams underwent their brand refresh in 2020, they introduced two new uniforms: royal blue and Bone. But what had fans even more excited was the fact that the team teased additional uniform releases in 2021 and 2022.

The Rams nailed the introduction of their “modern throwbacks” last year, bringing out classic white, blue and yellow jerseys to go along with their other two uniform sets. And while there was a lot of anticipation about which direction the team would go this year for its second alternate uniform, disappointment is on the way instead.

Rams COO Kevin Demoff said on the 11 Personnel podcast Monday that the team won’t be releasing a new uniform this year. Demoff cited supply chain issues, which have had a worldwide impact, as a major reason for the lack of a fourth jersey being released this offseason.

He also said that the league’s new helmet rule, which allows teams to wear a secondary helmet, was another reason the team wants to wait before releasing another jersey. He said the team is targeting 2023 for its next uniform release, but that could get pushed back to 2024.

“There’s no reason to introduce a new uniform just for the sake of introducing a new uniform,” Demoff said.

There was some good news, however. Demoff said the Rams are planning to wear their white modern throwback uniforms more often this season, considering how well-received they were in 2021.

And the reason the Bone uniforms were absent from media day is that the team already had photos of players in those jerseys from last year, but they didn’t have any shots of them in the white throwbacks. So the Bone isn’t going away, it’s just being overtaken a bit by the modern throwbacks.

Rams reveal which uniforms they’ll wear against the Bengals in Super Bowl LVI

Fans should be thrilled about the Rams’ uniform choice for Super Bowl LVI against the Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals are technically the home team for Super Bowl LVI, which gave them first pick for uniforms. They went with black jerseys and white pants, which left the Rams to wear a light-colored jersey.

Rather than going with their Bone uniforms, the Rams will be rocking a fan favorite: their modern throwbacks, which debuted this season. The Rams revealed their uniform choice on Twitter Wednesday, rocking the white, blue and yellow jerseys with yellow pants – a classic look for this franchise.

First, they teased the jerseys with a video of the Super Bowl LVI patch being sewn on.

Then, they made it official with this creative GIF of Matthew Stafford throwing a pass to Isaac Bruce, who wore this same style of uniform in Super Bowl XXXIV against the Titans.

And finally, the Rams posted three pictures of Cooper Kupp, Odell Beckham Jr., Von Miller and Leonard Floyd donning the modern throwbacks, looking sharp for the photo shoot.

Needless to say, this is going to be a phenomenal uniform matchup on the field at SoFi Stadium.

Bengals will wear black jerseys in Super Bowl, which means Rams are likely to wear Bone

The Bengals appear to be going with black uniforms, which means the Rams are likely to wear their Bone jerseys

Uniform choices are a big deal in the NFL. They’re even more critical in the Super Bowl.

As the designated home team for the AFC, the Cincinnati Bengals get first choice of what jerseys and pants they’ll wear in the big game on Feb. 13. During a photoshoot on Wednesday, they appear to have made their decision.

They’re going with black jerseys and white pants, a classic look for the franchise. The Rams haven’t officially announced what they will wear, but this seemingly rules out the possibility of them wearing their royal jerseys and yellow pants, which they rocked in their first three playoff games.

Unless the NFL makes a special exception allowing the Rams to wear their modern throwbacks, they’ll be forced to go with Bone jerseys. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but they probably would’ve liked to keep their streak alive by wearing blue and yellow again.

The question now is what color pants the Rams will pair with their Bone jerseys.

They could go with all-Bone, which they were 3-0 in this season.

Yellow pants are also a possibility. They wore them against the Texans and Vikings.

Then there are the royal pants. They wore those against the Packers in Week 12 and in Seattle during the fifth week of the season. The Rams wore them against the Colts in Week 2, as well.

The Rams are likely to reveal their choice very soon, as early as Wednesday. And when they do, it’s almost certain they’ll be wearing Bone jerseys next Sunday.

It’s just a matter of which pants they want to pair with the off-white tops.

Here’s which uniforms the Rams and Seahawks are wearing tonight

The Rams and Seahawks are finally squaring off tonight after a two-day delay. Here’s which uniforms they’ll be wearing.

It’s finally game day for the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks after their Week 15 matchup was postponed from Sunday to Tuesday due to COVID-19. And although neither team is at full strength, this should still be a competitive game between two NFC West foes.

As they always do, the Rams revealed their uniform combination before kickoff, announcing which jerseys and pants they’ll be wearing against the Seahawks tonight. We already knew they’d be wearing their royal jerseys, but they’ll be pairing them with Bone pants – the same combination they wore against Seattle in last season’s matchup at SoFi Stadium.

The Seahawks also revealed their uniform combination for this Tuesday night tilt, going with their all-white set for Week 15 on the road. It’s a clean look that should make for an easy-on-the-eyes game at SoFi Stadium.

Here’s a preview of Seattle’s uniforms.

Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. ET tonight, with the game being broadcast by FOX. Check the TV map to find out if you’ll get the game in your area because Eagles-Washington will be on FOX at the same time, too.

Rams uniform schedule for 2021 season: Bone rules the road, Royal at home

The Rams will wear their Bone uniforms nine times, with five games in Royal and three in the white throwback jerseys.

The Los Angeles Rams added a new uniform to their rotation this year, revealing their “modern throwbacks” for the 2021 season. The white and yellow jersey joins the team’s Bone and Royal looks from last year, giving them three options.

They’ll be wearing each of them at least three times this season, and they’ve begun to distinguish road and home uniforms rather than mixing and matching as often as they did last year.

The Bone will essentially be their road uniforms, being worn in nine games – eight of which are away from home. The Royal jerseys will be worn five times, all at SoFi Stadium. And finally, the three modern throwback games will be against the 49ers, Titans and Bears, with that prime-time matchup against San Francisco being on the road.

Here’s a look at their full uniform schedule.
