Former Georgia Bulldogs running back Zamir White is having a strong preseason with the Las Vegas Raiders. White is anticipated to see immediate paying time when the regular season starts. White will likely share carries with Raiders running back Josh Jacobs this year.

The Las Vegas Raiders selected Zamir White in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL draft. The Raiders are expecting big things out of White during his rookie season. White’s emergence helped Las Vegas feel comfortable cutting NFL veteran running back Kenyan Drake.

Zamir White scored a touchdown for the second consecutive week of the preseason. The former Georgia standout looks strong and rarely goes down at initial contact.

The Las Vegas Raiders defeated the New England Patriots 23-6 to wrap up their preseason. Zamir White finishes the NFL preseason with 26 carries for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Las Vegas opens the NFL regular season on Sept. 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Jordan Jenkins is out for the season with a knee injury

Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Jordan Jenkins will miss the 2022 NFL season. Jenkins suffered a torn ACL in the Raiders’ preseason victory over the Miami Dolphins. Jenkins has been placed on injured reserve.

Jordan Jenkins played college football at the University of Georgia from 2012-2015. Jenkins recorded 19.0 sacks during his career with the Bulldogs.

Jenkins has six years of NFL experience, but is expected to be out for the season. The New York Jets selected Jenkins in the third round of the 2016 NFL draft. The former Georgia star spent five seasons in New York before signing with the Texans in the 2021 NFL offseason.

Jordan Jenkins played in 11 games last season as a reserve pass rusher for the Houston Texans. He recorded 2.5 sacks and 20 total tackles.

Houston recently released Jenkins, who was battled a strained calf, after they activated him from the physically unable to perform list. Jenkins had just signed with the Raiders to help strengthen their outside linebackers room. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL in his first game with the Raiders. Las Vegas may look to sign another NFL veteran to improve its pass rush.

Las Vegas Raiders fullback Alec Ingold had the longest grab of his NFL career this Sunday when the Raiders took down the Philadelphia Eagles. Ingold broke free for a 29-yard grab, surpassing his prior total season receiving yards on just one play late in the game.

Ingold was named a captain of the Raiders before the season began, and has been an essential piece to what Las Vegas is building as they sit at 5-2 on the young season.
