Alabama QB Ty Simpson seen putting in work this offseason!

One of the most noteworthy storylines to follow this offseason in college football is the ongoing quarterback battle in Tuscaloosa.

All spring the battle was between Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson and then Nick Saban and Tommy Rees did something a little surprising by bringing Notre Dame transfer Tyler Buchner into to fold.

There will be countless debates between now and Sept. 2 about who should be the signal caller for the Crimson Tide against Middle Tennessee State.

As players have some time away from school, each goes their own way to either spend time with family or continue the grind. On Thursday, QB Country released a short video of Simpson putting in some work in Nashville.

In the video, Simpson appears to have bulked up a little more since spring football wrapped up last month and looks to be throwing with great velocity after suffering a thumb injury during A-Day.

While you can’t take a lot from this simple video, it’s nice to see Simpson putting in the extra work before heading back to campus next month.

Jake Fromm putting in work in Athens!

Former Georgia quarterback and current Washington Commander Jake Fromm is preparing for his fourth NFL season.

Fromm was a fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft by the Buffalo Bills and spent two seasons in Buffalo.

The New York Giants signed Fromm from the Bills practice squad in 2021 and started two games before being non-tendered, making him a free agent in 2022.

The former Bulldog standout stayed in shape and was picked up by the Commanders practice squad in October of 2022 and signed a reserve contract in January.

Fromm recently got some reps in at Georgia’s indoor facility in Athens in preparation for the 2023 season.

Fromm is working with quarterback training specialist at QB Country.

Five-star quarterback Christopher Vizzina took home some hardware after attending the Senior Bowl draft experience.

Vizzina showed why he is a top QB target for the Tigers in 2023.

Vizzina’s MVP award comes just a couple of weeks after visiting Clemson for the elite junior day.

“It was awesome, I got to do so much stuff,” he told TCI after the junior day visit. “The one thing is, most of these places I’ve gone to, obviously, they tell me everything I want to hear, but Clemson really showed me the actual university. I don’t really get to see the actual campuses at these other schools. If I go to the university, I want to see what it looks like. That was a pretty memorable part of it.”
