PXG hosts Women’s Day to Play and releases Summer ’23 collection

PXG celebrated Women’s Day to Play on June 5 and just released its new Summer 2023 apparel capsule.

PXG celebrated Women’s Day to Play on June 5 and invited all their female employees out of the office for a paid day off to experience golf.

This day off was celebrated within PXG in their North America, United Kingdom, and Japan regions. In Scottsdale, Arizona, home of PXG, Renee Parsons hosted more than 75 PXG employees at the Parsons’ private golf oasis, Scottsdale National Golf Club. LPGA Tour Professional and PXG Ambassador Christina Kim joined the festivities of clinics and shotgun scrambles.

PXG also hosted a panel where social media and comedian star Becky Robinson and Kim joined others for engaging golf conversation.

“Last year, I played my first round of golf at Scottsdale National Golf Club during PXG’s 2nd Annual Women’s Day to Play. At that time I was pregnant a week out from giving birth,” shared Rachel Beach, PXG resale associate. “PXG was super supportive in helping me be a first-time mom, spending time with my son while continuing my career and gaining exposure to the game of golf.”

PXG Apparel has released its brand new 2023 spring collection full of vibrant hues of pink and green.

PXG is historically known for black tones, but the company typically picks a color or two to feature within each apparel drop. The hot pink and green are perfect colors for the spring season and heading into summer.

“The seasonal collection is made to move, highlighting and modernizing golf essentials in a bold and vibrant way. This collection offers a variety of distinct, elevated pieces that provide maximum performance for both on and off the course,” said Renee Parsons, President and Executive Creative Director of PXG Apparel.

PXG drops new tropical-inspired Aloha Capsule Collection

This year’s Aloha print features a floral design with classic black, white, grey and the collection’s signature green.

PXG has dropped a new tropical-inspired Aloha Capsule Collection. Golfers everywhere have Maui on their minds as the Sentry Tournament of Champions is well underway.

With the start of the tour in Hawaii, PXG officials felt the timing of this capsule couldn’t have been any better. This year’s Aloha print features a floral design with classic black, white, grey and the collection’s signature green.

The capsule features six signature apparel pieces and various on-course accessories. Accessories include river, blade, and mallet putter headcovers, a player’s towel, and a special-edition lightweight carry-stand bag. PXG has also added hidden golfer “Easter eggs” throughout the design print.

In addition to practicality, these tropical designs add a touch of personality to traditional golf prints. Adding the new green print to a wardrobe will provide a relaxed, laid-back, polished look for the links.

“The Aloha Capsule Collection is a fan-favorite for our PXGTroops, and I always look forward to its official release each year,” said Renee Parsons, president and executive creative director of PXG Apparel. “Hawaii holds a very special place in our hearts – it has become a second home for Bob and me. The tradition of sharing the aloha spirit with our customers through this lively collection is truly rewarding.”

PXG x Nick Jonas launch new apparel and accessories collaboration

Nick Jonas has teamed up with PXG to bring a collaborative collection of 15 apparel styles and nine accessory pieces.

Pop superstar, actor and golf enthusiast, Nick Jonas has teamed up with PXG to create a collaborative collection of 15 apparel styles and nine accessory pieces. The project has been in the works for more than a year and is filled with disruptive pieces such as knitted tee’s, pleated pants and slides.

With the release of the slides, PXG has entered the footwear design space for the first time and they are a far cry from something you might wear to the beach. These slides are an ode to golfers who never want to take their golf shoes off or get too far away from the game. They have a transparent midsole that lets you see non-functioning golf spikes inside the footwear. There is a golf ball-inspired textured outsole on the bottom for functional traction. Jonas admits the slides are one of his favorite pieces in the collection.

Renee Parsons is the president and executive creative director of PXG Apparel and has been working closely with Jonas to bring the collection to life. Her favorite piece is the PXG x NJ Multi Pocket Zip-Up Hybrid jacket, which is made for windy days on the course with its windbreaker hood, drawstring holders and mesh detailing. The blue accent along the zippier ties this item together.

The collection was released on Tuesday and in New York City, while promoting it, Jonas explained how he got into golf.

“When I was 10, we had a family friend growing up in Jersey who was a course ranger. He would let me come on the course with him and sit in the cart, watch him do his thing and occasionally hit some balls,” Jonas said. “When I was about 15 years-old, I started to get more serious while we were touring because we would have a full day to waste before the shows.”

Parsons is thrilled to have Jonas be apart of PXG’s first celebrity collaboration and hopes to reach new demographics and grow the game further.

“Nick really has an audience of 25 to 40 years-old. It’s a lot of females, but it’s skewing a lot older than what we originally thought,” said Parsons. “We want to make the game fun and accessible. We think Nick brings that to the collaboration. He’s young, a pop icon, well-known but he’s not necessarily known for golf and it’s unexpected.”
