Alabama is the clear favorite in the Week 7 SEC West matchup against Arkansas.

Alabama hosts Arkansas for a Week 7 matchup that many believe will go the way of the Crimson Tide. USA TODAY college football experts made their weekly picks and all six are rolling with the Tide.

The Razorbacks enter the matchup with a record of 2-4, but that doesn’t mean they can’t put up a fight. Three of their four losses were by a single possession.

USA TODAY college football experts unanimously picked the Crimson Tide to win, which makes some fans uneasy as it could be seen as rat poison, or outside noise that negatively impacts the team.

I’m of the belief that this team’s mindset has completely changed. The goal is to fight for a spot in the College Football Playoff and compete for a national championship. Similar to the 2015 Alabama team, being ranked No. 13 in the nation was a wake-up call.

The Dallas Cowboys have been waiting nine months for this opportunity. While the players and possibly the coaching staff might not have known, the rematch of the 2022 season’s divisional game was destined to happen. Thanks to the three-year rotation of intra-conference schedules, the Cowboys were going to head to the Bay no matter what.

But that doesn’t take away from the relevance of the matchup. Dallas needs this game. A loss drops them essentially three games behind the 49ers in the race for home-field advantage in the NFC. The Cowboys would need to finish ahead of San Francisco in the standings to avoid a potential road playoff matchup, so even though it’s Week 5 this is important. How confident are we they can pull off the upset.

The staff of Cowboys Wire got together and looked to predict the final score and the storyline that will be the narrative after it’s over. With a guest appearance from Niners Wire’s managing editor Kyle Madson, here’s how we think it will unfold.

SEC Nation’s crew was also split. Tim Tebow picked Florida to win, but Paul Finebaum, Roman Harper and Jordan Rodgers all went with Big Blue.

They all noted that Kentucky being at home gave them an edge, and it’s a fair point considering Florida’s only loss came on the road against Utah. This is a young Gators team that could easily show its age early on.

Hopefully, Tebow is right, though, and the Gators prove that beating Tennessee wasn’t a fluke.
