Patriots-Bills game day poll: Who wins on Sunday?

Who are you taking on Sunday? Patriots or Bills?

[polldaddy poll=12896992]

The New England Patriots could right a lot of wrongs if they took a stand and knocked off the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Of course, they’d have to do so with a less than stellar roster against a team that has owned them in the last four head-to-head meetings.

Can the Patriots turn the tables on their division rivals?

That much will depend on if quarterback Mac Jones and company are up to the task of going blow-for-blow with Josh Allen and the explosive Bills offense. New England’s defense has shown the ability to keep the team in games.

If the Patriots offense can limit turnovers, they could make it interesting against a Bills team that has looked shaky over the last couple of weeks. The Bills have struggled in stopping the run, which could create a path for success for the Patriots with running backs Rhamondre Stevenson and Ezekiel Elliott.

Who will come away with the win on Sunday?

POLL: Should the Broncos start Jarrett Stidham at quarterback?

If the Broncos are going to make a quarterback change in 2024, should they take a look at Jarrett Stidham for the rest of the 2023 season?

The Denver Broncos are 1-5 and while quarterback Russell Wilson hasn’t necessarily been the problem, he hasn’t been the solution, either.

Wilson had his worst game under new coach Sean Payton on Thursday Night Football last week, completing 13-of-22 passes for 95 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in a 19-8 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Wilson’s overall numbers through six games aren’t bad — he has completed 65.9% of his passes for 1,305 yards with 12 touchdowns against four interceptions. Over the last two weeks, though, Wilson is 33-of-53 for 291 yards with three touchdowns, two interceptions, eight sacks and two fumbles.

There’s plenty of blame to go around for Denver’s struggles, and Wilson is not “washed.” Wilson is set to 35 years old next month, though, and it’s fair to wonder if he has a long-term future with the Broncos.

If Denver plans to make a change at quarterback in 2024, should they get an early start now and take a look at Jarrett Stidham for the rest of the 2023 season? Let us know your take by voting in the poll below.

Patriots-Raiders game day poll: Who wins on Sunday?

Who wins on Sunday? Patriots or Raiders?

[polldaddy poll=12872646]

The New England Patriots will try to put an end to a two-game losing streak in Sunday’s road trip to the desert to take on the struggling Las Vegas Raiders.

Things have reached a tipping point for the Patriots with coach Bill Belichick’s seat looking as hot as it’s ever been in New England. Quarterback Mac Jones is also potentially another turnover away from being benched for good.

The Patriots are carrying four quarterbacks into this game, which is a bit unusual. Jones, Bailey Zappe, Will Grier and rookie Malik Cunningham are all on the active roster ahead of the game.

Cunningham is the most interesting player in the group considering his diverse skill set as both a runner and passer under center. Will he get playing time against the Raiders, and can he make a difference? That’ll be something to watch in this game.

The Patriots are coming off consecutive blowout losses to the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints, while the Raiders barely survived a tough run-in with the Green Bay Packers last week.

Who will come away from Sunday’s game victorious?

Who wins the Week 6 game between the Bucs and the Lions?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to face off against an old NFC Central rival on Sunday.

The Bucs are 3-1 and heading off the bye week for Sunday’s Week 6 matchup against the Detroit Lions. Tampa Bay was looking hurt heading into the bye week, but the injury report on Wednesday looked as if the team may get quite a few pieces back and ready to play in the Bucs’ “creamsicle” game that will feature throwback uniforms.

The Lions, meanwhile, have had an almost perfect start. The team is 4-1 with a loss to just the 3-1 Seattle Seahawks in overtime and have looked like a dominant, well-rounded team across the first five weeks of the season. Like the Eagles, the Lions could be a Super Bowl contender, so this will be a tough matchup for Tampa Bay.

According to BetMGM, the Lions are three-point favorites against the Bucs on Sunday. The over-under is set at 43.5.

Will the Bucs continue their hot streak and prove that they can contend with the best NFL teams? Or will the Lions be too much to handle for Tampa Bay?

POLL: Should the Broncos fire GM George Paton?

Should the Broncos fire GM George Paton? Vote in our poll!

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton is in danger of matching the worst six-game start in franchise history if his team falls to 1-5 on Thursday.

The Broncos traded a first-round draft pick to the New Orleans Saints for Payton’s rights this offseason, though, so ownership seems unlikely to move on from the coach quickly. In a rebuilding phase, Payton will likely be given time to reshape the roster over the course of more than one season.

Denver’s general manager, however, might be a different scenario.

George Paton played a role in the team’s decision to hire coach Nathaniel Hackett last year, a move that proved to be a disastrous decision. Paton also traded valuable assets to acquire quarterback Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks last offseason.

Paton also gave Wilson a five-year, $245 million contract last year, and he gave pass rusher Randy Gregory a five-year, $70 million contract in 2022. Paton’s drafts have featured several big hits, but many of his big free agent signings have been misses, and his first coaching hire was a big miss.

So, should George Paton be on the hot seat? Let us know your take, Broncos fans, by voting in the poll below!

Patriots-Saints game day poll: Who wins on Sunday?

Who wins on Sunday? Patriots or Saints?

[polldaddy poll=12847070]

An opportunity to change the narrative hangs in the balance for the New England Patriots in Sunday’s Week 5 meeting with the New Orleans Saints.

Some would consider this a must-win game for the Patriots with the team sitting at 1-3 and barely a pulse in an AFC East division dominated by the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.

In many ways, a win over the Saints would start the resuscitation process after the Patriots were pounded in the dirt by the Dallas Cowboys in a 38-3 blowout loss last week. New Orleans might be the more talented team on paper, but they’re equally as flawed offensively with a struggling offensive line and questionable play-calling.

Can the banged-up Patriots defense make enough plays to take advantage of those weaknesses? That’ll be something to keep an eye on at Gillette Stadium in this week’s matchup.

However, the biggest storyline for the Patriots will be how quarterback Mac Jones responds to being benched last week for Bailey Zappe. Can he put on a good showing against a tough Saints team at home?

His future in New England could depend on it.

POLL: Cardinals vs. Bengals – Who wins in Week 5?

Vote in the poll to say what you think happens when the Cardinals and Bengals play on Sunday.

The Arizona Cardinals have a chance to pick up their second win of the season before quarterback Kyler Murray returns. They, sitting at 1-3 on the season, host the 1-3 Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5.

The Bengals are favored in this game but have never won a road game against the Cardinals. They have been awful on the road this season.

The Cardinals average 28 points per game at home. The Bengals average three points per game on the road.

The Cardinals average 186.5 rushing yards at home. The Bengals give up an average of 189.5 rushing yards on the road.

Who wins this game? Do the Bengals win and cover the three-point spread?

Do they win but not cover? Do the Cardinals win outright?

Vote in the poll to tell us what you think!

Patriots-Cowboys game day poll: Who wins on Sunday?

Who wins on Sunday? Patriots or Cowboys?

[polldaddy poll=12822298]

The New England Patriots will embark on one of the toughest road games on their 2023 schedule on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys,

Granted, the Cowboys are coming off an ugly loss to an Arizona Cardinals team that didn’t even have their starting quarterback on the field. But on paper, Dallas has one of the most impressive rosters in the NFL.

The defense looked like a juggernaut two weeks ago, and the offense could break out at any moment.

With that said, the Patriots will be coming into the game with some momentum after knocking off the New York Jets on the road in Week 3. Like the Cowboys, they are one of the best defensive teams in the league. All it takes is a decent offensive performance for them to have a shot at pulling off a major upset in Dallas.

This could finally be the week that quarterback Mac Jones and the Patriots win the big one and improve to 2-2 on the season.

Who wins the Week 4 game between the Bucs and the Saints?

Cast your vote in our poll to predict the winner of Week 4’s Bucs at Saints matchup!

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to face off against their division rivals in the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

The Bucs are 2-1 after a brutal loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football in Week 3. This would serve as a good bounceback win for Tampa Bay, but it’s also an important game outside of that — this is the Bucs’ first division game of the year, and while you want to win every game, this one is particularly important.

The Saints are dealing with uncertainty at quarterback. QB Derek Carr injured his shoulder against the Green Bay Packers in a loss, and QB Jameis Winston could be playing instead of him on Sunday.

According to BetMGM, the Saints are three-and-a-half point favorites against the Bucs on Sunday. The over-under is set at 40.

Will the Bucs get their first division win against the Saints this year? Or will New Orleans secure a foothold on the rest of the NFC South?

Patriots-Jets game day poll: Who wins on Sunday?

Who wins on Sunday? Patriots or Jets?

[polldaddy poll=12796428]

The New England Patriots will be looking to earn their 15th consecutive win over the New York Jets in Sunday’s AFC East divisional clash between longtime rivals.

Offense has continued to be an issue for the Patriots, even with Bill O’Brien overtaking the play-calling. The offensive line has been banged up, and the team lacks explosiveness on the outside at receiver.

Can they scheme their way to a much-needed victory over an elite Jets defense?

The first order of business should be making Jets quarterback Zach Wilson’s nightmares come true for a fifth time. No team in the NFL has consistently made Wilson look worse than the Patriots. In his last four head-to-head matchups with Bill Belichick’s defense, the former No. 2 overall draft pick has thrown seven interceptions and been sacked 11 times.

We’ll see if that streak continues on the road at MetLife Stadium in Week 3.
