Steph Curry reacts to Luka Doncic’s ‘ridiculous’ game-winner in Mavs vs. Clippers Game 4

Luka Doncic’s game-winning 3-pointer got a shoutout from Golden State’s two-time Most Valuable Player.

After helping the Golden State Warriors land the No. 2 overall selection at the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery, Steph Curry tuned into playoff action inside the Orlando Bubble.

Golden State’s point guard was virtually in attendance to watch Seth Curry and the Dallas Mavericks take on the Los Angeles Clippers in game four of their Western Conference Playoff series.

After falling down by 21 points without Kristap Porzingis, the Mavericks stormed back against Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers to push the game into overtime. In the extra period, Luka Doncic etched his name into postseason lore.

Down by a point with 3.7 seconds remaining, the 20-year-old guard drilled a vicious step-back jumper from beyond the arc to seal the Mavericks’ improbable comeback victory, 135-133.

Doncic’s teammates surrounded him in celebration as broadcaster Mike Breen boomed his signature “bang!” call.

Paul George is getting roasted by Charles Barkley and NBA fans for his ‘Playoff P’ nickname

Sheesh.

Paul George has had an absolutely dreadful showing in the Clippers last two games against the Dallas Mavericks.

He’s got 25 points on 33 shot attempts with only three made 3-pointers and he hasn’t played the same lockdown defense that we’re used to seeing from him. It’s been a rough to watch.

Everyone is letting him have it, including Charles Barkley. The NBA on TNT analyst roasted George for giving himself the “Playoff P” nickname years ago when he was still on the Thunder.

Now that he’s playing terribly with the Clippers and the spotlight is brighter than ever before, Barkley and the entire internet won’t let him live it down.

Barkley absolutely roasted him on NBA on TNT.

“You can’t be calling yourself playoff P and losing all the time. You don’t see me walking around saying I won a championship and I didn’t win it. They don’t call me championship Chuck.”

The internet was also extremely unforgiving.

Ouch. These are harsh. But they’re also pretty hilarious. They are not letting George live this down at all.

To be fair to George, he’s currently in a slump but he’s had a pretty good history. The last three years just haven’t been kind to him at all. He gets swept by the Raptors in 2017, loses to the Jazz in 2018 and gets put out of the playoffs by a 35 footer from Damian Lillard in 2019.

Now, he can’t hit the bottom of the net in 2020. Luckily for him, though, Kawhi Leonard is there to pick up his slack.

He’ll probably start playing better at some point. Until he does, though? Playoff P is going to get these jokes.
