There are so many reasons to believe this could finally be the year for the Philadelphia 76ers.
The franchise’s most recent championship came in a memorable 1983 sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers. The ensuing four decades have brought postseason memories from Allen Iverson, Eric Snow, Andre Iguodala and Joel Embiid but no visits to the mountaintop.
