Peyton and Eli Manning star in two FanDuel Super Bowl commercials

Following the ‘Kick of Destiny’ on Sunday afternoon, Peyton Manning and Eli starred in two FanDuel commercials during the Super Bowl.

Ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday, former NFL quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Eli Manning faced off in FanDuel’s “Kick of Destiny” event outside the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Peyton missed his first kick wide left and Eli’s first attempt fell short. Peyton then hit the right upright on his second attempt before Eli struck his right down the middle, winning the competition.

Their older brother, Cooper, provided commentary for Fox alongside Rob Gronkowski, who participated in the first two editions of the Kick of Destiny (he failed both times).

“It’s unbelievable, I’ve been dreaming of this moment,” Eli said after beating Peyton. “I’ve just been grinding, been working so hard and finally, to be a kicker, it just feels right.”

Eli said he pulled a muscle during the kick but it was “well worth it.”

Here is the kick-off from earlier in the day:

And here is FanDuel’s first commercial following the event:

And here is the company’s second Big Game ad:

“Eli and I have always been competitive, and this is going to be a fun way to challenge each other in a completely different way,” Peyton said in a press release ahead of the Kick of Destiny.

The Kansas City Chiefs are facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. The game is on Fox and available to stream on FuboTV (try it free).

Giants legend Eli Manning bests Peyton to win ‘Kick of Destiny’

New York Giants legend Eli Manning bested his brother, Peyton Manning, to win the 2025 “Kick of Destiny.”

Retired New York Giants quarterback and future Hall of Famer, Eli Manning, didn’t leave the football world after retirement. Neither did his brother, Peyton.

For the last three years, the brothers have hosted “ManningCast” every Monday night during Monday Night Football, but that’s not the only venture the brothers are part of.

For the third time, FanDuel ran the Kick of Destiny challenge on Sunday, dubbed Kick of Destiny 3.

What started as a Super Bowl commercial featuring Rob Gronkowski attempting a 25-yard field goal is being morphed into something else. This year, the Manning brothers took it to a new level and made it a competition.

You can find the rules here.

In the 3:00 p.m. ET hour of the pregame show, Eli and Peyton squared off. Eli won the toss and chose for Peyton to kick first.

In Round 1, they kicked from 25 yards out and both brothers missed — Eli completely whiffed.

In the second round, they moved the spot to a 20-yard field goal attempt. Peyton went first again and his attempt looked like it might sneak in before hitting the upright and bouncing back.

Then it was Eli’s turn. He set the ball, took his steps back, hyped up the crowd, and lined up the kick… It was good!

Eli Manning bested Peyton again. He’s now 3-0 in the Pro Bowl and 1-0 in the Kick of Destiny.

After winning, Manning said it was “well worth it,” referring to some soreness he experienced in practice.

The younger brother outdid the older brother and will have bragging rights for however long he likes.

‘Peyton Manning’ (Matthew McConaughey) appears in Uber Eats’ Super Bowl commercial

“Peyton Manning” (with CGI assistance from Matthew McConaughey) appears in a funny Uber Eats Super Bowl commercial.

We already knew Peyton Manning is set to appear in two FanDuel commercials during the Super Bowl. The former quarterback is also set to appear in an Uber Eats ad … sorta.

In his continuing campaign with Uber Eats, Matthew McConaughey maintains his conspiracy theory that football was invented to sell food.

McConaughey stars in the company’s Super Bowl commercial this year and he retells the story of football and food with his face CGI’d over historical football figures, including Manning.

“And Peyton, he was a beef salesman,” McConaughey says in the ad. Then the QB is shown saying, “Omaha! Steaks. Omaha! Steaks.” The actual Manning is briefly shown in real footage before McConaughey takes over for the Omaha Steaks bit.

Watch the extended cut of the commercial below, which runs more than a minute and a half long:

In addition to McConaughey, Martha Stewart, Charli XCX, Kevin Bacon, Greta Gerwig and Sean Evans also appear in the Uber Eats commercial.

The Philadelphia Eagles will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday afternoon. The Uber Eats ad will likely be one of the big winners of the day.

Eli Manning ranks Ben Roethlisberger above three all-time great QBs

Eli Manning chose Ben Roethlisberger over Philip Rivers, Drew Brees, and Michael Vick, showing his respect for the Steelers legend.

Michael Vick, Philip Rivers, and Drew Brees all have one thing in common—former New York Giants QB Eli Manning would take former Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger over every one of them.

Manning was asked which quarterback he would take when given two options, not knowing who would come next. He kicked off his first three selections by choosing Roethlisberger three straight times—over Rivers, Brees, and Vick—until finally selecting his brother Peyton Manning over the legendary Steelers QB.

Manning is one of the most accomplished Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks in recent history, defeating who many consider to be the G.O.A.T. of the National Football League, QB Tom Brady, in two separate head-to-head Super Bowl matchups—though Manning actually chose Brady to surpass his brother in the final selection of all-time quarterbacks.

Roethlisberger is no stranger to Super Bowl championships, winning two himself in Super Bowl XL and XLIII. In some ways, Eli and Big Ben are more alike than people realize—both favoring their two Super Bowl wins over personal accolades.

Peyton Manning trolls brother Eli in funny Tylenol commercial

Peyton Manning: “Everybody has something that gives them a headache. For me, it’s my brother Eli. In fact, I call my headaches Eli’s.”

Peyton Manning and Eli Manning were the NFL’s most popular brothers for nearly two decades, and they have remained in the spotlight even after hanging up their cleats.

The brothers often allude to a fierce sibling rivalry in their public appearances, even if that’s perhaps not a reflection of reality. In his latest commercial for Tylenol, Peyton continued the bit.

“Everybody has something that gives them a headache,” Manning says in the ad. “For me, it’s my brother Eli. In fact, I call my headaches Eli’s. And when I feel an Eli coming on, I reach for Tylenol.

“These rapid release gels always bring fast relief. No matter how bad an Eli it is — whether its a tension Eli, a cluster Eli, or even a sinus Eli. I just pop a few of these guys and I’m right as rain.”

Manning, 48, won two Super Bowls during his decorated NFL career. He retired in 2016 after winning Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos.

Peyton Manning has been practicing kicks at Broncos’ facility with help from Wil Lutz

Ahead of FanDuel’s “Kick of Destiny 3” event, Peyton Manning practiced at the Broncos’ facility with help from Wil Lutz.

Peyton Manning and his younger brother, Eli Manning, are set to face off in a field goal battle on Super Bowl Sunday.

Ahead of FanDuel’s “Kick of Destiny 3” event, Peyton has been practicing at the Denver Broncos‘ indoor practice facility with help from the team’s kicker, Wil Lutz.

“Lutz has kind of been my consultant,” Manning said during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show last week. “He didn’t want anybody to know that based on how I kick. If I kick poorly, he’s like, ‘Don’t tell anybody I’ve been helpin’ ya.’

“But I was kicking straight on with a square toe and he’s like, ‘I gotta tell you, Peyton. You don’t kick well like that and you look like a fool. They’re going to kill you on social media.’ So at least now I’ve gone soccer style. I look better, I’m not saying it’s great, but I don’t have to be great, I just have to be better than Eli.”

Lutz confirmed his involvement on his Twitter/X page:

Manning released a practice video later in the week:

FanDuel has released two commercials promoting the kick-off, and Manning starred in a mockumentary of him “practicing,” but it didn’t include any kicks.

The brothers will both attempt to convert field goals at 3 p.m. ET ahead of the Super Bowl LIX on Sunday. FanDuel will also have two Manning commercials air during the game.

The Super Bowl between the Chiefs and Eagles will be held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans at 6:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 9. The game will be televised on Fox and available to stream on FuboTV (try it free).

Throwback: Broncos won Super Bowl 50 on this date in 2016

The Broncos won Super Bowl 50 on this date (Feb. 7) in 2016.

Seven years after winning back-to-back Super Bowls in 1998 and 1999, the Denver Broncos returned to the NFL’s championship game in 2016.

The Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016. Denver was considered a five-point underdog going into the contest.

The Broncos’ defense dominated the game, sacking NFL MVP quarterback Cam Newton six times while also forcing two fumbles and an interception.

Denver’s offense was carried by running back C.J. Anderson, who rushed 23 times for 90 yards and a touchdown in the upset win.

Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller was named the game’s MVP after totaling six tackles, 2.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. Fellow outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware also had a big game with five tackles, four quarterback hits and two sacks.

Denver quarterback Peyton Manning did not throw any touchdown passes, but he did complete a two-point conversion pass to wide receiver Bennie Fowler in the fourth quarter, marking the final throw of his career. Manning later retired in the offseason.

Miller went on to play five and a half more seasons with the Broncos before being traded to the Los Angeles Rams. Miller won a second Super Bowl with the Rams following the 2021 season.

Peyton Manning’s practice for the ‘Kick of Destiny’ is hilarious

Peyton Manning said he went 199-of-200 on practice field goals with his only miss being a 72-yard attempt.

Peyton Manning and his younger brother, Eli Manning, are set to face off in FanDuel’s “Kick of Destiny 3” event at the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The brothers will compete to see who can be the first to convert a field goal during pregame ahead of the Super Bowl. FanDuel has already released two commercials promoting the showdown, and they have now shared behind-the-scenes footage of Peyton practicing for the event.

In the six-minute mockumentary, Peyton clearly exaggerates his preparation, stating on Day 4 that he went 100-of-100 on practice kicks. Notably, none of the kicks are actually shown. Check it out:

On Day 6 of the video, Manning says he missed a 72-yard attempt, otherwise going 199-of-200 on field goal attempts that day.

FanDuel also released a mock press conference featuring Peyton and Eli, with the latter saying he only attended the presser so he wouldn’t be fined.

Here are several more segments from that press conference:

Peyton Manning gives his take on Bo Nix’s rookie season

Peyton Manning said the “sky’s the limit” for Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, and Coach Manning wishes Nix had been able to attend the Pro Bowl.

Former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was in Orlando last week to coach the AFC squad at the 2025 Pro Bowl.

While speaking to media members at the Pro Bowl, Manning gave his take on rookie quarterback Bo Nix’s first season with Sean Payton.

“Bo played great,” Manning said, via DenverSports.com’s Andrew Mason. “He and Sean — Sean being the play caller —  like I said, good continuity. Same system all year. Some of these rookie quarterbacks had two different play-callers in their first years. So, Bo benefited from a good system with Sean and good rapport with his receivers and played at a real high level.”

Nix, a fourth alternate, had a chance to be added to the AFC’s Pro Bowl roster but he declined due to a pre-planned surgery.

“[He] had a chance to be down here,” Manning said, via Mason. “I wish he could have come down here. I think it would have benefited him to be around pros like Joe Burrow. So, anyway, he’s — great first year and sky’s the limit, I think, for him.”

Nix had one of the best rookie seasons in NFL history, finishing the year with a 66.3% completion rate, totaling 3,775 passing yards and 29 touchdowns while adding 430 rushing yards and four scores on the ground. Nix appears to have a bright future in the NFL, and he’ll likely join Manning at a future Pro Bowl.

Peyton Manning appears in Bud Light’s Super Bowl commercial with Post Malone and Shane Gillis

Post Malone and Shane Gillis are joined by Peyton Manning in Bud Light’s Super Bowl commercial this year.

For the second year in a row, Peyton Manning will be joined by Post Malone in Bud Light’s Super Bowl commercial.

Manning and Malone will be joined by comedian Shane Gillis in the ad that shows the trio as “BMOCs,” the neighborhood’s “Big Men on Cul-De-Sac” who are relied on to bring parties to the next level.

“It was easy getting into the BMOC role when I found out I’d be grilling steaks, drinking Bud Lights, and hanging out with Post Malone and Shane Gillis,” Manning said in a press release.

“Getting to team up once again with Bud Light for Super Bowl LIX is an incredible honor — they always bring the good times and laughs, and this spot will definitely have fans wishing they could join this cul-de-sac.”

Here is the 60-second version of the Super Bowl commercial:

Manning, 48, retired from the NFL in 2016 after winning Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos. Even in retirement, he continues to be a hit in commercials, appearing in Big Game ads each season.
