Jamaal Charles is getting #Chiefs fans ready for Wednesday’s parade with Bud Light Genie

Former Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles played many memorable seasons with the team and understands how to excite the crowd. The Super Bowl LVIII champions will get a hero’s welcome on Wednesday for the championship parade that promises to do better than last year’s fantastic turnout.

Chiefs Kingdom will remember “Bring Home the Bud Light” from last year, featuring the Chiefs legend at the parade. He is back this year with a new surprise, as Charles explained in a statement.

“We’re back-to-back champs, Chiefs Kingdom! I know you all remember Bud Light and [me] delivering the fun on parade day last year,” said Charles. “Now we’re coming back and bringing the Bud Light Genie with us! Kansas City always shows up and brings the energy on parade day, and I’m excited to show the Bud Light Genie what we’re all about. So let’s all grab a Bud Light, and cheers to the champs!”

This year, special limited-edition Bud Light Chiefs championship bottles will be available at select retailers along the parade route this week and then on shelves at participating retailers beginning March 25th.

No Super Bowl is complete without a Peyton Manning commercial.

The five-time NFL MVP made an appearance during the Big Game on Sunday in Bud Light’s “Easy Night Out” commercial that introduced football fans to “The Bud Light Genie.”

“The Super Bowl is the highlight of the NFL season for any player, and it’s always been a highlight for the Bud Light team as well,” Manning said in a press release. “We had a lot of fun making this commercial, and I’m sure a lot of people are going to be thinking through what they would wish for if they were lucky enough to meet the Bud Light Genie.”

Here’s the extended version of the commercial:

Peyton Manning is joined by Post Malone, Dana White and a T-Rex in the commercial. Manning played in the NFL from 1998-2015, winning Super Bowls with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos before hanging up his cleats in 2016.

Last year, Manning starred a regional Super Bowl commercial for Bush’s Beans. In 2022, Manning featured in three Big Game ads — one for Michelob Ultra and two for Caesars Sportsbook.

Broncos fans loved seeing the team’s No. 18 jersey featured in this year’s Super Bowl commercial.

Peyton Manning to star in Bud Light’s Super Bowl commercial

A Broncos fan wearing a No. 18 jersey becomes best friends with Peyton Manning in Bud Light’s Super Bowl commercial.

After he starred in Bud Light’s commercial promoting the drink’s Super Bowl giveaway last fall, it’s no surprise that Peyton Manning has returned for Bud Light’s commercial set to air during the Big Game on Sunday.

Bud Light has purchased an ad spot for their “Easy Night Out” commercial that features “The Bud Light Genie” granting wishes to fans. Halfway through the ad, a fan wearing a No. 18 Denver Broncos jersey says, “I wish Peyton Manning was my best friend.”

Manning then appears, followed by Post Malone and Dana White. The wishes get more elaborate, culminating with a Tyrannosaurus rex joining the party (literally).

Here’s the full 60-second commercial:

Manning appeared in a regional Super Bowl commercial for Bush’s Beans in 2023. The year before that, Manning featured in three Big Game ads — one for Michelob Ultra and two for Caesars Sportsbook.

The San Francisco 49ers will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, Feb. 11. The game will be televised on CBS.

Peyton Manning promotes Super Bowl giveaway in new Bud Light commercial

Peyton Manning and Emmitt Smith star in Bud Light’s new commercial promoting their Super Bowl LVIII ticket giveaway.

Peyton Manning has announced yet another Super Bowl giveaway, this time with Bud Light, the official beer sponsor of the NFL.

After previously announcing a Super Bowl LVIII ticket giveaway with Caesars, Manning is teaming up with Bud Light for a similar campaign.

As part of their Super Bowl giveaway, Bud Light has released a new commercial featuring Manning and fellow Pro Football Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith. In the ad, Manning buys drinks for everyone in a crowded bar and then begins passing cans of Bud Light to an excited crowd.

“Experiencing the playoffs or the Super Bowl is a special moment for a fan, and I’m happy that Emmitt and I get to be part of Bud Light’s mission to host their largest ever NFL postseason ticket giveaway,” Manning said in a press release.

Here’s the extended version of the commercial:

Bud Light will air 15- and 30-second versions of the ad for the remainder of the 2023 NFL season and into the playoffs leading up to the Super Bowl.

Manning, 47, has long been a fan of Bud Light, but he did not have an endorsement deal with Anheuser-Busch during his playing days because the NFL frowns on active players endorsing alcohol (the league itself can have official alcohol sponsors, though).

Not having an official partnership did not stop Manning from plugging the product as a player, though. After a playoff win in 2014, Manning said: “What’s weighing on my mind is how soon I can get a Bud Light in my mouth.”

Two years later, after winning Super Bowl 50, Manning said “I’m going to drink a lot of Budweiser tonight” during a post-game interview. Then, during the trophy presentation, Manning said: “I’m going to drink a lot of beer tonight, Jim. Budweiser.”

Budweiser claimed that they were “surprised and delighted” that Manning mentioned them on TV, but said they did not pay him to do so.

Seven years later, Manning is no longer an active player, so the NFL can’t stop him from endorsing any particular service or product. His Bud Light endorsement is official now, and knowing Manning, that might have been his long term goal all along.

Commanders renew relationship with Bud Light

Bud Light becomes the exclusive beer partner of the Commanders.

One day after the Washington Commanders announced a partnership with Verizon, the NFL franchise renewed its previous relationship with Bud Light, making them the exclusive beer provider of the Commanders.

Washington president Jason Wright released the following statement:

We are thrilled to partner with Anheuser-Busch again to create a new and improved experience for Commanders fans. Bringing Anheuser-Busch back to FedExField as a partner not only reflects their confidence in our organization, but also their commitment to our fans, who are the most loyal in NFL. More importantly, we are pleased to have a partner who shares our commitment to giving back and to supporting our military, as we continue to expand engagement programs locally for first responders and families of fallen soldiers.

Matt Davis, VP of Partnerships at Anheuser-Busch, also released a statement regarding the partnership.

We are excited to have the Commanders back on our NFL roster. This partnership continues to further our commitment to football and its local fanbases across the country. As the Official Beer Sponsor of the NFL, we want to show up in moments that matter for football fans all year long. Our history with the Washington franchise runs deep, and these fans are some of the most loyal and passionate fans in the nation. We’re excited to bring more easy enjoyment to fans throughout the year.

Bud Light previously ended its relationship with Washington in March 2022 after the NFL had hired former Securities and Exchange Commission chair Mary Jo White to investigate harassment allegations against former owner Daniel Snyder.

The Commanders were sold from Snyder to a group led by Josh Harris last month.
