Details announced for Tom Brady Patriots Hall of Fame induction

More details on Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction have been revealed

One of the more highly anticipated days on the New England Patriots 2024 calendar has been announced.

Former legendary quarterback Tom Brady is set to be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame, and more details on the event and how fans can attend have been released. The ceremony itself will be held inside Gillette Stadium on June 12 at 7 p.m. ET.

Fans got the chance to celebrate Brady at halftime during the opener against the Philadelphia Eagles last season. The Patriots lost a close game to the Eagles by a 25-20 score. Now, they’ll have a chance to celebrate his official induction into the Patriots’ Hall of Fame.

ESPN’s Mike Reiss wrote:

Next week, Patriots season-ticket members will be sent ticket information, and they will be given preferred pricing for the event through April 12. If there is remaining inventory after the presale process, it will be made available to the general public later in April. For longtime New England sports fans, it sounds like this could be similar to the historic “Larry Bird Night” in 1993.

It will be quite the evening to celebrate one of the most decorated athletes in New England sports history. Patriots fans will be able to say thank you to Brady properly and give him the sendoff he didn’t get when he left for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.

Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction date announced

Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction date has been set.

Mark your calendars for June 12, 2024.

The New England Patriots will waive the traditional four-year waiting period and will induct Tom Brady into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame on that day.

To say it is worth bucking norms for the greatest quarterback that ever lived is an understatement. Brady led the Patriots through an unprecedented dynasty that spanned from 2001-2019. Six Super Bowls were just the tip of the iceberg, as Brady and the rest of the Patriots kept a winning dynasty alive for nearly two decades.

New England honored Brady in a smaller halftime ceremony on Sunday at Gillette Stadium, where the retired quarterback gave a passionate speech to Patriots fans.

Patriots fans will certainly be counting down the days until Brady’s induction. This may be the rare occasion when an actual Patriots game is not the hottest ticket in town.

Save October 21 as the date that the New England Patriots will officially induct former linebacker Mike Vrabel and offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia into the Patriots Hall of Fame.

Per ESPN’s Mike Reiss, it will be a free event for fans, and it is slated to be held in the plaza outside of the Hall.

Vrabel, who is the current coach of the Tennessee Titans, will be in Foxboro that weekend with the Titans scheduled to be on a bye week.

“Well, thank you,” Vrabel said back in May, when receiving the news of his induction from Patriots owner Robert Kraft. “Obviously, it’s an unbelievable honor to be associated with the people in that hall. Thank you. You don’t think it’s a big deal until you get called, and obviously, I’m very honored.”

Meanwhile, Scarnecchia, the legendary assistant coach that had a huge hand in the franchise’s success over the years, was surprised with the news at a luncheon.

Both Vrabel and Scarnecchia have permanently cemented themselves as key contributors to the greatest dynasty in NFL history, and they’ll rightfully be rewarded for it in front of the same Patriots fan base that cheered them on the journey.

WATCH: Robert Kraft video calls Mike Vrabel with Hall of Fame news

Mike Vrabel received a video call from Robert Kraft directly to deliver his Patriots Hall of Fame news.

On Wednesday, former legendary New England Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel became the 34th player in franchise history to be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame.

What would a Hall of Fame induction be without owner Robert Kraft delivering the news personally?

Kraft called Vrabel up on a video call to inform him he was being inducted as part of the 2023 class, along with former offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia.

“Well, thank you,” Vrabel said during the call. “Obviously, it’s an unbelievable honor to be associated with the people in that hall. Thank you. You don’t think it’s a big deal until you get called, and obviously, I’m very honored.”

Kraft is looking forward to bringing the former Patriots defender and his wife in for a ceremony to celebrate the honor. Vrabel, who is the current coach for the Tennessee Titans, agreed to do it with only one caveat.

“As long as the Titans aren’t playing, we’ll be there,” said Vrabel.

Mike Vrabel to be inducted into Patriots Hall of Fame

A former defensive legend is being inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame.

Former New England Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame on Wednesday. He is the 34th member of the organization to be inducted.

Vrabel had a successful career with New England. He played for eight years with the Patriots and started in 110 of 125 games played. He tallied 606 combined tackles and 48 sacks.

Vrabel also made his only Pro Bowl with New England in 2007. He was selected to the All-Pro First-Team as well. That year, he recorded 77 tackles and 12.5 sacks on the season.

Vrabel will join former Patriots assistant coach Dante Scarnecchia as part of the 2023 class. He is the eighth player to enter the team’s Hall of Fame as a three-time Super Bowl champion.

It seems like only yesterday Vrabel was playing in a Patriots uniform—and occasionally catching touchdown passes as well. Now, he is getting his due by being permanently enshrined in the franchise’s Hall of Fame.

2023 finalists for Patriots Hall of Fame announced

The three finalists for the Patriots Hall of Fame have been announced.

The New England Patriots have announced the 2023 finalists to be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame. On Thursday, they revealed former coach Bill Parcells, linebacker Mike Vrabel and offensive guard Logan Mankins could be permanently enshrined with the other franchise all-time greats.

Mankins, a seven-time Pro Bowler and former first-team All-Pro offensive lineman, was a key cog along the Patriots’ offensive front and even made the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. He helped keep legendary quarterback Tom Brady upright during some of the most prolific seasons of his career.

Parcells is already an NFL Hall of Famer and one of the greatest coaches in history. So it only makes sense for him to break into the Patriots Hall of Fame at some point.

Meanwhile, Vrabel would be a fun option as the current head coach for the Tennessee Titans. Even though he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers, he’s known more for what he did in New England side-by-side with Tedy Bruschi. He finished his career as a three-time Super Bowl champion and former first-team All-Pro linebacker.

Fans can cast their votes at Patriots.com for the next man to join former longtime offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia as the 2023 Patriots Hall of Fame inductees.

WATCH: Moment Dante Scarnecchia learned of Hall of Fame induction

Here’s the moment Dante Scarnecchia learned of his Patriots Hall of Fame induction.

Former New England Patriots offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia was elected into the team’s Hall of Fame on Thursday, after a successful career with the Patriots.

He first began his NFL coaching career with New England in 1982. He then went to the Indianapolis Colts organization following his first stint with the Patriots. Scarnecchia returned to New England in 1991 and didn’t leave the organization after that. He officially retired following the 2019 season.

Scarnecchia helped the team win six Super Bowls in the process and even came out of retirement in 2016. He was a key part of the Patriots organization and an integral part of the line development and play all of those years.

He was honored at a luncheon on Thursday and was certainly pleased with the honor.

This is an appropriate honor, given how much Scarnecchia meant to the Patriots organization over the years. There were some individuals during the Patriots run of success that were crucial but didn’t necessarily receive a ton of press.

Scarnecchia was one of them.

Legendary OL coach Dante Scarnecchia going in Patriots Hall of Fame

Here’s a feel-good story for a Thursday with Dante Scarnecchia going into the Patriots Hall of Fame. Much-deserved!

In one of the true feel-good stories on Thursday, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft announced the team was inducting former longtime assistant coach Dante Scarnecchia in the Patriots Hall of Fame.

It’s a much-deserved honor for Scarnecchia, who coached for the Patriots for a span of nearly 40 years. His influence within the organization clearly remains, given fans were actually campaigning for his return to help fix the broken offensive line in 2022.

Not only is Scarnecchia one of the all-time great Patriots coaches, but he’s one of the all-time great offensive line coaches in NFL history, period.

“Dante Scarnecchia is recognized as one of the greatest assistant coaches of all time,” said Kraft in a released statement. “He is the first Patriots assistant coach to receive this honor and I can’t think of a more deserving person. You would be hard-pressed to find anyone who made greater on-field contributions over his 34 seasons with us, which propelled us to 10 of our 11 Super Bowl appearances and helped us claim five of our six Super Bowl championships.

“He earned the respect of his fellow coaches and players, many of whom credited Dante for making them the best they could be. I am proud that his legacy will be preserved in our Hall of Fame forever.”

Scarnecchia joins a special list of Patriots greats that have already been enshrined in the team’s Hall of Fame. So many players over the years were made better by the work Scarnecchia did on and off the field.

Now, he’ll take his rightful place in history among the other New England legends that paved the way for a brighter future.
