Orlando City SC at FC Cincinnati odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s Orlando City SC at FC Cincinnati odds and lines, with MLS picks and predictions.

In one of many MLS games Saturday, Orlando City SC (8 wins, 4 losses, 5 draws) travel north to take on FC Cincinnati (3-7-6) at TQL Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the Orlando City SC vs. FC Cincinnati odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

Having added a couple of defenders in the last week, FC Cincinnati is looking to improve where it’s weakest. Hopefully, it will help its fortune as well as it hasn’t won June 26.

Cincinnati has drawn its last two matches. At home yet again, FCC has yet to win at its brand-new stadium. It’ll get a tough matchup this time as well with the second-ranked team in the Eastern Conference coming to Cincinnati.

Orlando City, led by F Nani, won two of its last four matches. It has won just three of eight on the road this season.

Prediction

Orlando City SC 2, FC Cincinnati 1

Money line (ML)

BET on ORLANDO CITY SC (+155) as it’s the more-proven side. Well, and the fact FCC has yet to win at home. That certainly doesn’t help anything.

Oh, and add to that FCC just mutually parted ways with its general manager. While it added a few defenders, there’s no telling if they’ll up to speed for this game.

On the other side of the field, an experienced Nani will be looking to break down the second-worst defense in the East. Given FCC’s internal struggles and inability to get results at home, expect Orlando to come out on top.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the OVER 2.5 (-140) as Orlando City’s defense has also struggled.

It has given up 22 goals through 17 matches which is the worst of any team in playoff contention. Orlando ranks fifth in goals and seventh in shots on target.

With FCC is in the bottom 10 in save percentage, there’s no reason at least 3 goals shouldn’t be netted in this one. FCC hit the Over in three of its last six matches while Orlando City’s hit the Over in nine of its last 11.

Atlanta United at Orlando City SC odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Friday’s Atlanta United at Orlando City SC odds and lines, with MLS betting picks, tips and best bets.

In one of three MLS games Friday, Atlanta United (2 wins, 5 losses, 8 draws) visit Orlando City SC (7-4-4) for an 8 p.m. ET kickoff at Exploria Stadium. Below, we preview the Atlanta United FC vs. Orlando City SC odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

Despite F Josef Martinez finding his way back into the lineup, Atlanta United still haven’t consistently found a positive result. Atlanta hasn’t won since May 15 and has earned just two points in the last five matches.

As for Orlando City SC, with F Nani leading the way, it could jump Nashville SC for second place in the Eastern Conference with a win. Orlando hasn’t played well lately either with a 1-3-1 record over its last five games.

Prediction

Orlando City SC 1, Atlanta United 1

Money line (ML)

BET on the DRAW (+270) as the best value on the money line. After all, it seems to be the only thing Atlanta knows how to do.

United have more draws than wins and losses combined. With Martinez back, they should manage to find the back of the net at least once. They’ve drawn five of eight road matches.

While Atlanta still has three players with the USMNT in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the most important absence is Orlando City F Daryl Dike. Without Dike, expect a lower-scoring match with the outcome being a draw.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the UNDER 2.5 (+100) as the better value on the total.

Without Dike, Orlando’s attack is limited to Nani. Outside of Martinez, Atlanta really has little attacking prowess, having scored just 14 goals through 15 matches.

Atlanta hit the Over in two of its last seven matches. While Orlando City was completely destroyed Sunday by New York City FC to the tune of a 5-0 loss, its defense should bounce back at home, where it has played well.

Philadelphia Union at Orlando City SC odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Thursday’s Philadelphia Union at Orlando City SC odds and lines, with MLS betting picks, tips and best bets.

In one of just two MLS games Thursday, Philadelphia Union  (6 wins, 3 losses, 5 draws) travel south to take on Orlando City SC (6-3-4) at Exploria Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the Orlando City SC vs. Philadelphia Union odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

Philadelphia and Orlando will meet in a clash of two of the top four Eastern Conference teams. However, it won’t be a full showing of the talent each roster possesses.

Orlando will be without F Daryl Dike, who is trying to will the USMNT in the Gold Cup. Philadelphia is hit a bit harder as starting GK Andre Blake, F Cory Burke and D Alvas Powell are all playing for the Jamaican Olympic team.

Philadelphia will enter 2-1-2 over its last five games, while Orlando City is 2-2-1.

Prediction

Orlando City 2, Philadelphia Union 0

Money line (ML)

BET ORLANDO CITY SC (-115) as Philadelphia is just down too many key players.

The Union are down one of its top goal scorers in Burke, who is tied for the team lead with four, along with its starting goalie in Blake. That’s quite a bit to be missing.

Orlando MF Nani is one of the most talented players in the MLS as well, so he should help captain the home side.

Orlando has been better at home, winning three of six, while Philadelphia hasn’t been that great on the road. The Union have won just two of seven road matches.

Expect Orlando to win given the circumstances.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

“LEAN” to the UNDER 2.5 (+115) as both teams are short-handed forwards and have had strong defenses so far this season.

In a combined 27 games, the two sides have combined to give up just 26 goals. Offensively, they’ve combined for just 39 goals.

Considering how dominant their defenses have proven to be and how lacking their respective offense should be during Gold Cup play, I’d think the Under, especially for plus-money value, is the better bet.

The Under has hit for Philadelphia in three of its last five contests. The Under has hit for Orlando in six of its 13 matches so far this season.

Orlando City SC at Inter Miami odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Friday’s Orlando City SC at Inter Miami odds and lines, with MLS betting picks, tips and best bets.

In Friday’s only MLS game of the day, Orlando City SC (5 wins, 1 loss, 3 draws) travel further south to take on Inter Miami CF (2-5-2) at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the Orlando City SC vs. Inter Miami odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

After starting the season 2-2-2 through 6 games, Inter Miami has drastically cooled off while losing its last three games. Miami hasn’t scored a goal in over five weeks.

They’ll be met by an Orlando City team that has not had any scoring issues. OCSC put up 5 goals in its last game against San Jose and scored 3 in the game before.

Prediction

Orlando City 2, Inter Miami CF 0

Money line (ML)

BET on ORLANDO CITY SC (+115) because it’s hot and clearly the better team.

Soccer is oftentimes determined by who converts chances. Orlando City has done that and is tied for the fourth-most goals in MLS. Orlando has also given up the fewest goals of any team in the Eastern Conference.

With former Portuguese star MF Nani leading the way, Orlando has proven to be one of the best in MLS. Inter Miami, meanwhile, is playing in just its second MLS season.

Obviously still adjusting, Miami has struggled to get anything going lately. With no real scoring threat and just 8 goals through nine games, expect Orlando City to easily take this one.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

“LEAN” to the UNDER 2.5 (-105) goals as Inter Miami is having a tough time scoring. Despite Orlando City SC being a scoring machine lately, it has scored 16 goals through 9 games on the season.

Orlando City should cool off. On top of that, it scored from the penalty spot and had just 8 shots on target in its last outing. For Inter Miami, only two Eastern Conference teams have fewer goals on the season.

It’s a gamble to take the total against a team that has averaged 4 goals per game over its last two outings, but it’s the right play. The Orlando City money line is the best value in this match, though.

San Jose Earthquakes at Orlando City SC preview, odds and prediction

Previewing Tuesday’s San Jose Earthquakes at Orlando City SC odds and lines, with MLS betting picks, tips and best bets.

The San Jose Earthquakes (3 wins, 5 losses, 1 draw) visit Orlando City SC (4-1-3) at Exploria Stadium Tuesday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the San Jose Earthquakes vs. Orlando City SC odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

Orlando City SC is coming off an electric 3-2 victory over Toronto FC Saturday. The only problem was that Orlando gave up 2 first-half goals. It was both out-shot and out-possessed but was still the better team in the end and enters Tuesday second in the Eastern Conference.

As for San Jose, it’s coming off a 0-0 draw against Austin FC. The Earthquakes were also out-shot in their first game since the international break. They’re currently eighth in the West, so they could really use at least a draw in this trip to Florida.

San Jose Earthquakes at Orlando City SC: Odds, picks and predictions

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Tuesday at 8:10 a.m. ET.

  • Money line: San Jose Earthquakes +400 (bet $100 to win $400) | Orlando City SC -165 (bet $165 to win $100) | Draw +290 (bet $100 to win $290)

Prediction

Orlando City SC 1, San Jose Earthquakes 0

Money line (ML)

PASS on the money line as neither club offers great value. While I think Orlando City will pull this out, I wouldn’t be confident enough to bet it at -165.

Three of Orlando City’s four wins have come against teams in the bottom three of the East.

They don’t have an impressive resume yet and are just 2-0-2 at home. While that’s solid and betting against them also isn’t smart, the best opportunity may be a Draw.

As for San Jose, they’ve lost 4 of their last 5. However, they’re coming off a tie against Austin. The Earthquakes haven’t shown much, so their to-win value isn’t great, and neither is that coupled with the draw.

If you’re wanting to bet the money line, ORLANDO (-165) is the way to go, but there’s a better bet on the table.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under (O/U)

BET the UNDER 2.5 (+125) because both teams have seen their fair share of struggles offensively. Both also played Saturday, so some fatigue could be a factor.

As for Orlando, their top scorer is former Portugal star M Nani who has 4 goals on the season. Given that only two of Orlando’s previous five games went Over 2 goals and that it should be the aggressor, I’d bet there isn’t a ton of action Tuesday.

Eight goals were scored in San Jose’s last five games. One goal was scored in its last 2 games. San Jose just doesn’t get the job done offensively.

For those reasons, I’d go with the UNDER 2.5 (+125).
